Customer Review: “I originally started with the 4 liter mini-fridge, or more accurately, micro-fridge and was very pleased with it. I took it on long trips and would mainly put redbull in it (because on a long trip, who doesn’t love all the caffeine in the world) which would keep everything perfect while plugged into the car. I even love the heating feature which I used to heat water bottles up to use for a mini-shower when camping. The only issue with the 4 liter was I wanted more space. So, I decided to get the 20 liter. Just as pleased with the 20 liter as I was with the 4 liter. I live in a house with 5 other roommates so I needed to have a small fridge in my room and I decided to go with this instead of a mini-fridge you can get at in stores because I can just pack this up and take it with me wherever I go. It’s fantastic and holds what I need it to. I also was very impressed that the unit is able to go down to 15 degrees which I did not expect it to be able to do (good fridge for alcohol at that temperature). I do hear it at night every so often but it is by no means loud. It’s just a small hum that is only audible whenever it is absolutely silent in the room. I would recommend this fridge for people who would like a fridge that you are able to take with you to various places or travel a lot and still want a bit of room for a surprising amount of food and drinks. It also looks sleek which is a huge plus to me. I will say, even though I did know how much it would hold by comparison to my 4 liter, the pictures on the page do make it look slightly bigger than what it is; however, this isn’t anything that is a deal-breaker because it is able to hold quite the amount. I will give advice and say that if you are living in a dorm, I would recommend getting an actual mini-fridge as it is able to hold more and is comparable in price to this, but afterwards, I would say to get one of these if you needed a little more fridge space just due to the portability of the unit and also it has the dual function of being able to heat food as well (I don’t mean cook though because it maxes out at 149 degrees). The summary on the product is that although its biggest drawback is the size to price ratio (and I only say this because you can get bigger fridges for the same price), it makes up for it by having the versatility to be easily transported (which the size works to its advantage here) and it is able to function as a food warmer (which I first though was a neat gimmick but actually has a lot more uses than I had thought).”

This is a thermoelectric fridge so you have to keep your expectations in check, but it does much better than other thermoelectric fridges I’ve tried. The room it’s in ranges from 75 degrees to 77 degrees and the fridge ranges from 33-35 or so. The temperature shown on the display is going to be the temperature closer to the back of the fridge. The door of the fridge will always be a bit warmer, mine ranges from 42-45 (still in range for most medications though which is nice). If you’re using it for medication I’d stick a thermometer in there with your medication so you can be sure since the temperature can vary depending on the spot of the fridge, but overall I’m very happy with the cooling. The size is also great, the display turns off after two minutes for me (I noticed some people said this didn’t work for them but it do work for me). My only complaint is the shelves aren’t great but that’s not a big deal for me.”

This was back in August 2023 (it’s now April 2026). One of them went out about a month ago – the cord connection is loose and I’m not enough of an electrical engineer to replace it, so I’m just going to buy a new one. (Note: items were already cold from the big fridge before being added to these small ones, so I would say the temps were maintained.) I did discover ice build-up in the back of each unit after the first couple of years, but I just emptied them, unplugged them and turned them face down in the kitchen sink until the ice melted away. The handle is plastic, so can’t tolerate a lot of pressure, but not much is needed to open the door. I like that the top has a little groove to make carrying it from one area to another easier.”

I can fit about 6 cans without the tray laying sideways, or with the tray, 3 cans of dr. Pepper and 2 cans on top. You can perhaps fit mini cans. I take meds as I am a kidney transplant recipient and just need to get back in routine to taking my meds on time without having to walk to kitchen, I got drink and meds in same place. It hums, but it is not loud like a kitchen fridge. It is constant, but it is like those venting fans like an air conditioner. It is cute and small, and makes a great cool collection to store stuff. There is a regular light that is white, or colors like this. There is even a warmer, but I prefer my cold stuff. It won’t fit a lunchable, but it will fit snacks like those mini cheese and pretzel snack wrapped in plastic. It could fit yogurts and tiny snack stuff. I may purchase another one because I want to store more and love the lights. It is so mesmerizing and brings me back in time. My mom said it reminds her of going back to the seventies. This is cool! Purchased 2 different brands prior to this one and returned both because they just didn’t get cold enough, were loud, and one was too small in depth and height inside. This desktop fridge is amazing, especially for the price. It gets COLD, it is quiet, and it holds a lot of items. I currently have a water bottle, a canned soda, a lunchable, a few bite size chocolate bars, a 1.6 quart of iced tea, and a sandwich and it all fits nicely. This little fridge is a workhorse. I haven’t had any issues with having to wipe up condensation and the door closure is nice and secure (it clicks shut). By far this is the most quality desktop fridge design (size, mechanics, and material) I’ve ever used. I did overfill it one day (I stuffed it and forced the door shut) and the consequence 2 days later was a small 1″ patch of ice built up on the inside back wall but everything was still cold, the door latch held, and no mechanical issues afterwards. I did defrost it for a few hours and good as new. I have now had this fridge for a year and a half. LOVE it. I bought the smaller 10L size for reference.”

You can fit up to 6 sodas if they are cans and you use the top shelf. You can easily fit three cans on the bottom and two taller bottles of water or monster drinks in the top. The door has adjustable shelves that easily fit makeup jars and bottles. The shelves on the door don’t cause any loss of inside space if you only put the aforementioned amount of cans and/or bottles. The pros for this small refrigerator are: Super small and portable, Completely silent, Keeps drinks cold, Sufficient space for several drinks, Door shelves hold most cosmetic sizes, Looks nice, Easy to use. The only con to the fridge is that it is a little bit difficult to see if the door is left slightly open. Because we placed this fridge on the floor and the floor has a low pile carpet, it doesn’t always shut all the way–not very tight–unless you are really mindful about making sure it’s closed. If it was on a hard surface, it would be much easier. Since my daughter and her friends are tweens, they don’t pay attention to ensuring it’s closed. Because the door is dark, and the body is white, it looks shut when it’s just slightly open. I guess a stronger magnet or even some kind of lock would solve this. This little refrigerator is very small and it really only fits about four cans of soda. It comes with both a home cord and a car. We got it for use in the car. My kids are competition dancers and we spend every weekend traveling from city to city so they can compete their dance routines, So we grabbed this to keep in the car to keep some drinks cool while they’re inside on stage. It’s been a great little treat for them after they work hard on the stage for a few hours be able to come outside and grab a nice cold pop or a little energy drink. This is some kind of thermoelectric cooling system I do not believe it has any refrigerant or freon in it and there is a small square spot in the bottom of the interior that gets super cold The entire case does not cool but enough of it does cool that it will keep your contents cold. Additionally it does have a cool LED door like a gaming computer style LED lights on the door, I’m not a big fan of those- luckily it has a power switch to turn those lights off. I had this plugged in in my office for about two weeks before we left for our first dance comp. It really took about overnight the first night to get nice and cold and then it stayed reliably cold the whole time. Then we switched the cord and put it in the truck and it has simply stayed cold every since. Small, compact, Low Energy Use, Reliable and Ice Cold for $48! What else do you need?”

I inserted a thermometer to measure its performance. Since it presumably uses a Peltier cooler (essentially an electronic heat pump), it’s not what one might call aggressive in its cooling. It *keeps* things cool rather than *makes* things cool, though I suppose it would do fine overnight. It’s very energy efficient and virtually silent (a very quiet fan is all you hear). After an hour on the Cool setting, the temperature stabilized at 52F — about 20 F below ambient temp. Perfect for wine or heavy beers (trust me). Not so perfect for lunch meats or soda, which typically need 40F or lower. On the Heat setting, it slowly (an hour or so) rose to 118F. Good for keeping your lunch warm, not so good for cooking a meatloaf, which, in fairness, it doesn’t pretend to do. As to the ‘gaming light,’ and the mirrored door, they’re cute, but it’s all window dressing. If this is what you need, then this is what you want. If, OTOH, your needs for heating or cooling are more aggressive, then this may not be what you’re looking for. Be aware and you’ll be fine.”

Customer Review: “awesome refrigerator so far, had it for a little over a month, I put it on my work boat, it stays fully stocked pretty much 24/7 with 5 crew members stocking their drinks daily, it will keep a fully stock fridge of drinks cold on just the number 2 setting, and it goes all the way to 5. And its so quiet yo I can’t even hear it unless you put your ear to it. Plus it adds a little class with its front glass and inside light. UPDATE I’ve had the refrigerator almost a year now and it works amazing still. It gets very cold so you have to keep it between the 3 and 4 mark on the temp, or the coils will freeze up. Customer Review: “I got this as a kimchi fridge (and other vegetables). I bought it based on my thought, ‘Wow 4.5 stars out of >1000 reviews! It must be great!!’ It’s not. I should have read the reviews. People talk about wildly variable temperatures. Interestingly, a lot of people said it doesn’t get cold enough. I had the opposite problem: WAY TOO COLD. I set it up correctly: • Let stand for 3 hours after unpacking it. • Set temperature control to zero and plug it in. • Wait 5 minutes. • Then turn control to desired temperature. I set it to 3, and put a thermometer inside. After about an hour, the temperature plummeted to 28 degrees Farenheit. Holy cow. So I set it to 2. Two hours later: 29 degrees Farenheit. The I set it to 1. Two hours later: 32 degrees Farenheit. This is ridiculous. So I set it to 5 (the coldest setting) to see what happens. Welcome to the Arctic: 17 freaking degrees Farenheit. The item description says its lowest temperature is 34 degrees. Wrong. Great freezer. Awful refrigerator. It would have absolutely killed all my veggies if I didn’t test it first. Needless to say, I’m returning it. (side note: Who was the brilliant engineer who thought it would be a good idea to put the light switch on the INSIDE of the fridge?) Customer Review: “Arrived severely dented in two places and since a couple of the reviews for this product mention cosmetic damage upon arrival, I had to assume that this is a result of improper storage and/or improper packaging. The packing materials that the fridge arrives in are standard for short-distance travel, i.e., from the store, to the car, to the kitchen….but they are not meant for long-distance shipping and the result is cosmetic damage. Once the shipping materials are more robust, then moving forward, this won’t be an issue. I was contacted by a seller representative and she has been absolutely sensational in assisting me. The freezer compartment is large enough to accommodate a pack of chicken thighs, an ice tray, an ice pack, bone-in pork chops, AND a small container of frozen stock!! The freezer also comes equipped with adjustable temp control. The main fridge is also very, very roomy – there’s a veg crisper that holds LOTS of veggies, a canned drink/bottle storage, adjustable shelves, and places for jars, cheeses, etc. The temp is always perfectly chill. There is no mechanical noise or humming, whatsoever. Absolute quiet. I was concerned about noise, too. But this is perfectly quiet. Customer Review: “If you want the perfect cheaply made fridge to give you food poisoning and lukewarm drinks then you have found it. Two different mini fridges in a row cannot go below 50 degrees F after two days of cooling. Food safety standard is a maximum of 40 degrees F. This is in a 70 degree room. Medication must be kept below 45 degrees F so this doesn’t work for it either. As an extra special feature it is very noisy as well. About the same sound as a computer struggling to cool down. Also noticed at the back there was already ice developing, after only two days. This will be a serious problem with constant defrosting of, ironically, a fridge that can’t get to a proper temperature of 40 degrees. As the only reviewer who actually paid for this and not someone who got it for free I can honestly say this is the most poorly Chinese made mini fridge I’ve ever found. But hey, if you want to develop botulism poisoning then definitely do look into buying this.”
