Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “So far, the best coffee maker I have ever had. The one thing that I really like about it is that for K cups, it starts brewing in like 6 seconds AND it doesn’t even preheat the water in the machine like most cheaper ones. Preheating the water will cost more in electricity (yes a very small amount) but will also cause the heating element to go bad quicker. This one just heats it after you press start and does it within seconds.”
Customer Review: “This machine came out just a couple of weeks ago January/2026. The only reviews I was able to find were from influenster on the Ninja site. I paid $179.00 for this brewer with my own hard earned money. I also want readers to know that this is my 4th attempt at having a new coffee brewer in 90 days. I started this journey when our Braun coffee maker accidentally was placed in clean mode, and since it will not stop on those brewers once started, the heating element burned out prematurely before we realized what had happened and could add water and cleaner. Having said that, I tried a Cuisinart and the display went bad in the first week. So I tried a second different model Cuisinart and I woke up just in time to find out it had leaked over night all over the countertop causing a short and when the timed brew started in the morning it started smoldering on my countertop headed for a full blown fire. Wow really! That freaked me out so I called an electrician and had my outlets checked (New House) and everything checked out perfect. So back to Amazon I go and buy another Braun. This brewer almost lasted longer than the return date before the clock started losing time and then started randomly not showing any time at all while all other lights and indicators still worked. Apparently, quality control has gone out the window in the world of small electrics. So I decided to try something all together different. My family loves good quality regular drip coffee so that was a necessity. But we also wanted to be able to brew just a travel mug to go or enjoy specialty drinks with a pod style brewer. This brewer brews the perfect cup of drip coffee. It has no trouble heating the water for maximum extraction. I measured the coffee temperature after it leaves the brew basket and before the carafe at 193 degrees + (older analog food thermometer). Its very hot and delicious. It also has no trouble keeping the coffee hot in the carafe and I just leave it on the standard hot plate settings. I live at 5300 ft. so I had to run the easy high altitude calibration and it hardly steams at all. I have never had a kcup or pod brewer but I learned through the owners manual that if you are at high altitude you should push the pod into the pod holder hard enough to puncture the bottom of the pod letting out the excess air pressure before closing the lid and brewing. This works perfect and keeps the pods from blowing out at high altitude because of to much pressure in the kcup. We have used cocoa and tea kcups and both come out perfect. We have also brewed a 20oz. travel mug using ground coffee and it worked flawless. At $179.00 this is a high quality machine that does what it promises to do. At this price point I feel they should have included a permanent filter as I prefer using those to paper. These machines are also UL listed for safety so it should not burn my house down like the Cuisinart that is not UL listed. I add felt pads to the bottom of mine (careful not to block air circulation) so I can slide it easy on the counter for filling and maintenance. This is well engineered and attractive. I will update this review if anything changes. Good luck.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I am the type of person to over research everything and still be super indecisive about what I purchased, but let me tell you, this thing RULES. I could not be happier with this coffee maker. Between the regular, hot coffee, and the cold brew / iced coffee, you are getting a steal with this purchase. Listed out some of my favorite things about this coffee maker below. Overall though, you need not look further.. this is the GOAT.- The coffee is HOT. Like piping hot. My old keurig would get the coffee hot, but like… this thing keeps it at the best temperature.- I make usually 1-2 cups daily, and have no problem with the amount of grounds per cup of coffee. It’s really really good coffee. I also love that it has a small “stand” for when you’re making a single cup. It really is the little things haha.- If you like your coffee strong, this has a feature “Rich” that make it extra strong for you.— It also has an espresso option “Speciality” great for use when you need a quick jolt of caffeine or a latte- The cold brew feature works great. I would make a full pot of it during the summer and keep it in the fridge for future use.- The frother works amazingly well too. It does not heat up the milk that you froth, but honestly, the coffee is so hot that I don’t even need it.- Cleaning is a breeze. I use paper filters because it’s easier clean up and the filter provided does unfortunately let some grounds come through. It’s barely noticeable thoughTwo cons:1. The amount of space it takes up. I went into buying this knowing full well how big it was though, so it’s more of something to just keep in mind2. Occasionally when I grind my coffee too fine, the water has a hard time making it through the filter. This can lead to water build up in the filter, and if you leave it, water dripping down onto the base of the coffee maker. The clean up is very easy though and does not splash around the coffee maker. All in all though, I cannot be happier with this purchase. The value for your money is A+. I would buy this 100 times over if needed.”
Customer Review: “I normally make my coffee each morning with a french press and have avoided in the past a coffee maker because of the size and also since I am the only one that drinks coffee I didn’t feel I need a large machine. When I read the reviews that this makes one cup of coffee (without the disposable cups) and more importantly to me – iced tea by the glass or carafe I had to order and try it out. Now I admit, I love kitchen gadgets so I am the perfect person to write a review. It came packed very well and quickly In a big box and then inside that box another box and inside that box the box that is shown in my review. So packed well! I am not very good at mechanical things which when you have to put together or figure out how it works, I call that mechanical and my kids laugh. Anyway, took this out of the box, plugged in, read instructions on which filters were for tea and coffee ( which are labeled clearly with color) and ran the two max pots of water through and was ready to make my iced tea. I love iced tea and selected the large glass which was my Yeti container size shown in my pic. You put the ice in the container beforehand, I didn’t have loose tea so put in two tea bags and pressed start. Made my iced tea in record time and was delish!! Wow, amazing! Now this a.m. I had my one cup of coffee. I put it in the mug shown and selected large cup container. That was a mistake for it is the next size down I should have pressed. My mistake and will know next time. It over flowed and I just wiped up. I then made the froth – SO EASY! I have to say, this is now one of my favorite new kitchen gadgets which is saying a lot since I have many. Now the equipment – I chose the stainless steel container versus the glass when I bought. It is more expensive but I believe well worth the extra. The carafe is very insulated and some reviews said that the coffee didn’t come out real hot. Well, I can attest to the fact that it was very hot and I almost burn the inside of my mouth. So this version of the Ninja is great. The baskets are well made and I love they give you two for coffee and tea. I just rinsed them out after using and couldn’t be easier. I like that you don’t add to the environment by plastic or paper each time using. The scoops for coffee and tea sits on the left side built in and the froth is right beside of it built in too. Less likely to misplace or lose. The process of selecting and making the size is easy as well for someone not “mechanical”. I could find nothing I do not like about this coffee/tea maker. Highly recommend!!!!”

Customer Review: “This coffee pot is the best one I’ve had in a long time. You can brew any size pot you want or just one cup up to 14 oz. Put in water, put in grounds and turn it on…super simple. It doesn’t do pods, but that’s ok by me because they are too expensive for me anyway. The pot is programmable to have coffee ready when you wake up. It has a sensor so that if you need a cup before the pot is done brewing you can remove the pot to poor a cup and it stops and doesn’t drip on the warming plate. I have not had to clean up coffee that ended up somewhere other than the pot or the cup and best part, no grounds in the pot or the cup. I am a happy customer. Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This Ninja single serve coffee maker has been such a smart purchase for our household. My teen loves those expensive coffee shop drinks, and I really wanted to show him that he can make something just as good at home without constantly spending his hard earned money. He actually invested in this machine himself (even found an open box deal that looked brand new and saved a few extra bucks), and it has absolutely paid off. We’re easily saving over $1,000 a year making coffee at home and honestly, it’s been fun experimenting with all the different options. What really sets this machine apart is the versatility. It’s not just a basic coffee maker it truly feels like having a coffee shop at home. There’s an espresso option for quick, strong shots (which Dad loves), a cold brew setting that’s perfect for iced drinks (a huge win for my teen), and even a built in frother on the side so you can make those café style drinks right at home. You can also use pods for convenience or brew your own coffee, which gives you total flexibility. The machine itself is sturdy, reliable, and the perfect size and we don’t have to fill up the Water reserve too often and really well made unlike the other popular brand name starting with a K which I won’t name ! It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect from Ninja. We own several of their products, and they consistently deliver great quality and value. This has been one of those purchases that truly makes a difference long term. If you’re looking to save money, cut back on daily coffee runs, and still enjoy high quality drinks with lots of options, I highly recommend it.”
Customer Review: “We love it! It brews great coffee and quite fast! I love the frother. It works well. I also appreciate that I can also brew my own coffee, rather than Kcops. We use both. The space-saving size was perfect for my coffe bar! This is a great product.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This Keurig is amazing! We have been using Keurig brewers for at least 10 years now and all have been good to us! Keurig’s customer service is top notch as well. I set up a little coffee bar in my kitchen and added this new brewer and it is the best I have used so far for iced coffees! The chiller tank on the back keeps the water cold and doesn’t melt the ice during the brewing process. To keep the water chilled, it does have to run constantly and the fan will kick on and off throughout the day but it doesn’t bother me at all, it’s fairly quiet. The lights do not come on until the handle is lifted and it shuts itself off automatically. Another great feature is the self cleaning cycle it does after every brew, which will help to keep it running well between descaling. If you are an iced coffee lover like me, get this brewer, you won’t be disappointed and will probably save some $$ on going out to get it!”
Customer Review: “FINAL UPDATE–Over the past couple years my family and I have gone through FOUR of these. They have all been well-maintained and treated with care, and they have all broken seemingly out of nowhere for zero visible reason. I was willing to be kind because it’s a novel product and when it works it’s incredible, but obviously four separate coffee machines breaking within a span of a couple years is ridiculous. Last Keurig I will ever buy, but I kept them in business for a few months with my purchases.TLDR: it was an incredible 5 star product until it broke after 4 months of regular use.I’ll keep it short and sweet. This is my favorite coffee maker I own, and I own a Breville Barista Touch and a Nespresso in addition to the Keurig Brew+Chill. My first couple iced coffees were very disappointing, to the point I almost initiated a return with Amazon. But once I got the right amount of oat milk (or creamer) and sweetener dialed in I swear this is some of the best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Better than Dunkin and Starbucks for sure. Obviously the taste depends on the K-cup you use, and the convenience-factor adds some brownie points, but I don’t think I’ll ever go out and get drive-thru coffee again. The way the machine works is a little unique. Basically for iced coffee it has to “charge” over time. The first time you use the machine it will take 6 hours to charge fully, and once it’s charged it can make about 4 iced coffees in a row and still make them very cold (I’m talking sub-60 degrees which for coffee is insane). After that you can still brew iced coffee, it just won’t come out very cold. For hot coffee, it works like any other Keurig. But if you only brew one or two iced coffees in like a one hour time period, it charges very fast. The only downside I can mention is the fan noise–in order to work, the cooling apparatus has a fan that runs almost all the time as the machine charges. My house is open-concept, and I can hear the fan in my living room very clearly from the kitchen, which is about 30-feet away. I got used to it pretty quickly, and it’s MUCH quieter than my GE Opal Ice Maker. But it’s worth mentioning in this review.Overall I ADORE this coffee maker. It feels revolutionary. I got it on sale for $170, which for what you’re getting, seems insanely affordable. I plan on buying another one for my house in another state so I don’t have to haul it with me every season.UPDATE 4 MONTHS LATER: It broke out of nowhere. Just straight-up stopped working. At first the Descale light lit up, so I ordered the Descale formula and followed all the steps. I thought the problem was a clogged needle after descaling didn’t fix it, but cleaning the needles didn’t help. It sounds like something is wrong with the pump that pulls in water from the tank. I can’t get hot or cold coffee to brew at all.Instead of contacting customer service I just ordered another one because the four months that the machine *did* work were lovely. All that to say: your mileage may very. I dropped the review score from 5 stars to 3, because $200 every 4 months is a high price to pay for iced coffee at home, no matter how delicious and convenient it is.”

A: Yes, many modern coffee makers are designed specifically for dual functionality. Models like the Ninja CM401 and BLACK+DECKER Split Brew offer both hot and cold brewing capabilities in a single unit, allowing you to switch between brewing methods depending on your preference or season.
Q: How long does cold brew take to make?
A: Traditional cold brew requires 12-24 hours of steeping time. However, some advanced machines like the Ninja CP307 can produce cold brew concentrate in just 10-15 minutes using specialized brewing cycles. The longer steeping method typically produces smoother, less acidic coffee.
Q: Do I need special coffee grounds for cold brew?
A: While any coffee grounds work, medium-coarse grinds generally produce the best results for cold brewing. Finer grinds can over-extract and create bitter flavors, while too coarse a grind may under-extract. Many cold brew enthusiasts prefer using darker roasts for their naturally sweeter profile.
Q: Are pod-based systems suitable for cold brew?
A: Some newer pod systems like the Keurig K-Brew+Chill are specifically designed for cold brewing, using flash-chilling technology to prevent dilution. However, traditional single-serve pod machines aren’t ideal for cold brew since they’re optimized for hot water extraction.
Q: How do I clean my coffee maker properly?
A: Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining flavor quality. Always follow manufacturer instructions, but generally involves wiping exterior surfaces, cleaning the carafe with warm soapy water, removing and washing removable parts, and running a cleaning cycle with vinegar or approved cleaner monthly. For cold brew systems, ensure thorough rinsing between uses to prevent bacterial growth.
After testing numerous models and considering real-world usage scenarios, it’s clear that the right coffee maker for hot and cold brew can significantly enhance your daily routine. Whether you choose the versatile Ninja CM401 for its comprehensive brewing options or the budget-friendly BLACK+DECKER Split Brew for its affordability, investing in quality equipment pays dividends in taste and convenience. Remember to match your choice to your specific needs—consider how often you’ll use each brewing method, your household size, and available kitchen space. The perfect coffee maker awaits, ready to deliver both steaming hot morning brews and refreshing afternoon iced coffee exactly how you like it.
