Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve been using my Gourmia oven for three months now, and it’s replaced my full-sized oven entirely. The French doors are genius—I can check food without letting out heat. The air fry function makes chicken wings so crispy, and the dehydrator is perfect for homemade jerky. My only gripe is that it’s a bit tall, so placing pans inside takes two hands.
Customer Review: This thing does everything! I made a whole roast chicken with crispy skin, baked cookies, and even dehydrated mango slices—all in one day. The controls took some getting used to, but once I figured them out, cooking became super simple. It’s bulky, yes, but worth every penny for how much I use it.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: When my Cuisinart toaster/fryer died I took a chance on this for half the price and absolutely love it. Cavernous in size, numerous rack and tray configurations and the french doors are brilliant and operate flawlessly. The controls take a bit of learning due to many great features, but they are intuitive and simple to operate. One knob does most of everything. I love that you can turn the light on and off and that it has dedicated preheat cycles. And on top of all that, it cooks very well. Easily the best of the 4 air fryers I’ve had to date. It also looks great and is all flat surfaces, so its very easy to clean. 3 months in its been a home run. Don’t be fooled by brand names. All your favorites sold out to private equity. They’re shell companies now. Midea is basically China’s General Electric and many of its products were designed by Toshiba. You won’t find anything close to this quality at this price. Buy it and love it like I do.
Customer Review: I seriously cannot believe that I was able to bake a full sized loaf of bread using my cast iron bread loaf pan (AND I realize now that I can fit TWO cast iron loaf pans comfortably if I want to) – it came out perfect. I tried the convection mode and foil for the last 10 minutes (but i had to do foil in my regular oven anyway). I will invest in a Dutch oven with a cover (I’ve been meaning to buy one anyway) – then I won’t need the foil at all anymore. Cookies came out GREAT no burnt bottoms – crispy and chewy and PERFECT. The french doors are an aesthetic bonus, and they are functional – they both open at the same time, which is nice. The unit is sturdy/built well and nice looking and has a THREE PRONG plug – which for safety reasons I passed on another popular brand with very similar features (and slightly roomier) with French doors – the two prong plug was a NO for me, regardless of the extra space. Anyway, it is a GREAT toaster oven, the knob and buttons are very distinct and easy to use (not like the electronic “pads” some toaster ovens have) – which I don’t like too much, while at the same time, offering most of the same up to date features. I don’t understand the criticisms regarding the knob and buttons not being “intuitive” (it does not operate via AI??? – they are simple, straightforward, and easy to use – honestly) I am very picky, and I love this toaster oven for the purposes I need it – and it looks elegant on my kitchen counter with a small footprint for what it handles. It was a great buy:) More than satisfied on this end:)

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: First, it is probably important to know that I am transitioning from an old Samsung Convection Toaster Oven to this and I have only been using this for two weeks.I looked at other options but they seemed huge (in size). One of the complaints I have read about the Ninja SP101 is that it is smaller. It is. It is good sized in depth and width but lacks (for some) in height. For me, that works but even when I made a good sized amount of nachos I had to press it down a bit so it didn’t get too near the heating element. I am single and cook for 1-2 people and this is ideal. It takes up a bit larger footprint than my ancient Samsung but is lower profile. I don’t mind the lower profile (I prefer it) and unless you are wanting to cook multiple items or any foods that are higher vertical then this is fine. It also looks good sitting on my counter.PROS:I like the controls and after a short learning curve is pretty simple to use. This pre-heats up quickly and cooks fast. The first item I cooked was frozen fries and used the Air Fryer. The fries were crisp and tasty. I was very happy with this.I toasted bread and bagels and it seemed to toast fairly uniformly taking a bit longer that I thought it would considering how powerful this oven is. I’m good with this.I used Air Broil to make nachos and it was perfect and quick!I used Bake to make some cookies and used parchment paper and it worked well.I ordered the casserole dish, thinking the higher sides would help prevent messes. Last night I cooked a wok dinner with tofu cubes, peppers, onions, noodles (boiled first), carrots, broccoli, celery and cashews with a teriyaki marinade. OMG, this was so good and no messes and the new casserole dish is non stick and although lighter and most likely cheaper (in quality), I prefer using this to the pan that came with the oven. Dinner was delicious!I have not used Dehydrate and Keep Warm functions yet.The light is a nice feature.CONS:During Air Fry the left front corner seems to cook hotter and burnt the edges of my french fries in this corner. The fries (in just this corner) were still edible just blackened.I have read that some customers thought the oven was difficult to clean. The sheet pan included with the oven is heavier than the casserole dish I later purchased but it seems more difficult to clean, as I had to make a few attempts to remove cheese. The surface is not smooth and has small bumps on it that concern me, but really not with reason as of yet. My main focus is to keep the oven clean and prevent splattering and boil overs as the heating elements are exposed and I feel are vulnerable. I will be using parchment paper and using the casserole dish more than the sheet pan. I have not made pizza yet but my concern here is that if I set the pizza on the rack there is nothing below it to catch any potential mess and can fall on the heating elements. There is the crumb tray but that is below the heating element. My initial thought was to place the cooking sheet under the wire rack and it does fit so this would protect the heating element but if I’m going to do this, I probably should just use the cooking sheet pan instead. I have often considered putting a silicone baking sheet under the wire rack to catch any drippings or mess but, again, does this defeat the open cooking of using the wire rack? I’d prefer to cook a pizza in a pan rather than drip on the heating element as my biggest concern (from other reviews) was that once it drips on the element it is nearly impossible to clean. Right now I am operating under the delusion of keeping the SP101 new but this is not practical (for any oven). It would be nice if the tray was spring loaded and would come out when the door was opened. You must manually pull out the tray or wire rack to remove from oven so you really need to have oven mitts at the ready to even add ingredients. My Air Fry Basket has a minor defect in the middle of it but is minor.Other:I don’t use the flip feature as I’m OK with its footprint and as I said earlier, it looks good sitting on the counter. But the flip feature does work well and if you are interested in this feature it seems worthwhile.I have been pulling the oven out when I use it to keep the cord away from the oven and giving it more space to ventilate. I have a plastic can opener mounted above where I use the oven. Even after a 450 degree cooking the can opener is warm to the touch but does not get too hot. The sides of the oven don’t get overly hot (but the glass does). This seems well built and I probably don’t need to pull it out but will continue to do so.I don’t think I will ever have a reason to use my regular oven again. This oven is big enough (for my cooking needs) and this oven pre-heats so much faster than my big oven, cooks more evenly and is more convenient. I am going to give my big oven a good cleaning and know it will stay clean as I probably won’t use it again. This oven is a good air fryer and I am impressed with the results, but I have never had an air fryer before. All the other functions seem really good. The wire rack and sheet pan are sturdy but I wish the sheet pan could support itself using the rails like how the air fry basket does. The air fry basket is flexible but still sturdy and mine had a minor defect. The crumb try is fine. I really like the added casserole tray. I would highly recommend this product unless you need or want the extra height of the Cuisinart TOA60. The Cuisinart, after reading reviews, was my first pick but after looking at the overall footprint, I decided against it. I am happy with the size and performance of the Ninja SP101.I will update this only if I have some issue with the oven.
Customer Review: This Ninja toaster oven quickly became one of my favorite kitchen appliances. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and looks great on the counter. The flip-up design saves space, and the interior light makes it easy to check on food. There’s a small learning curve with the rack positioning, but once you get it, it’s very easy to use.I use it for reheating, toasting, air frying, baking, and broiling, and everything comes out great. I even dehydrated lemons for cocktails and they turned out amazing.Like any oven, it does get hot depending on the setting, but it’s easy to manage, and the cooldown indicator is helpful. The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean. The stainless steel exterior can get smudges, but it wipes clean easily with a soft cloth.Overall, this is a high-quality appliance that does way more than just toast. Definitely worth the purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What exactly does a 5-in-1 oven with air fryer do?
A: A 5-in-1 oven combines five kitchen functions in one appliance—typically air frying, baking, broiling, toasting, and convection cooking. Some models also include rotisserie or dehydration. This eliminates the need for separate devices, saving counter space and simplifying meal prep.
Q: Can I really bake a cake in an air fryer oven?
A: Absolutely! Many 5-in-1 ovens are equipped with convection heating and precise temperature control, making them excellent for baking cakes, cookies, and even pizzas. Just ensure the recipe accounts for shorter cooking times compared to conventional ovens.
Q: Are air fryer ovens safe for daily use?
A: Yes, when used according to instructions. Most modern models have cool-touch exteriors, automatic shut-off, and child locks. Always follow manufacturer guidelines, especially regarding ventilation and cleaning.
Q: How do I clean my 5-in-1 air fryer oven?
A: Remove all racks and trays after each use. Wash removable parts in warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher if marked safe. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth; avoid submerging the main unit. Never spray water directly onto heating elements.
Q: Do I need a special rack for air frying?
A: Yes—most come with perforated air fry baskets or mesh racks designed for even airflow. Using regular cookie sheets can block air circulation and lead to uneven cooking. Always use the provided accessories for best results.
Choosing the best 5 in 1 oven with air fryer doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With so many excellent options available, you can find one that matches your kitchen size, budget, and cooking style. From the spacious Gourmia French Door to the space-saving Ninja flip-up model, each top contender brings unique strengths to the table.
