Customer Reviews
“This review will be in 2 parts. Order and delivery, because I was pleasantly surprised by the fast turnaround from ordering and, now, receiving after just two days. This was ordered late July 1st, and this is July 3rd. Therefore, thank you very much Amazon. Let’s get down to business…………….If anyone has had ‘cowboy’ coffee, you know it’s good and strong. But I don’t live on the open plain and eat from a chuck wagon. The problem is there is way too much coffee waste for one person trying to figure out the right measure of coffee to water. Most times, it’s the coffee that suffers. And for you non-cowboys out there, do not put the coffee grinds down the sink drain, not unless you want a big mess and an angry wife! So, here’s the other kicker. I did some online investigation, which brought me to Good Housekeeping reviews, and this Braun was second overall in all the categories for performance, coffee taste, brewing, ease of operation, and much more. Now you know why I bought this machine.I’ve said this over and over again, sometimes you have to ignore the customer reviews and pay attention to the pros! And the price is a definite value.Well, that’s the first half of this review. Next, unbox, read the instructions (I’m a huge fan of this), for tips and tricks and to stay away from, ‘Oh no!’ Or ‘Oh s***!’Trust me, I am tired of wasting my coffee. I enjoy cowboy cooking but this urban man needs to control expenses, but not at the expense of taste. This review will continue…………………see ya next time soon. Coffee, homemade bread, hot pepper jelly, and the 4th!This is the final stage……..that first mug of coffee.Following the directions for a regular mug of coffee and waiting for the tone, the coffee was hot. I added my creamer, and oh, what a great-tasting coffee. There are many coffee maker brands from inexpensive to high-end, but paying $70 for a Braun, which was recommended by Good Housekeeping review, is a winner. Kitchen appliances are an investment; why not make a good one? Now, back to my great-tasting coffee.July 22, 2025……….I have a post script to this review………………..Regardless of what brand of coffee you use, all coffee has an oil that will leave a residue on the the craffe, the gold basket, even the plastic on or near the coffee when brewing. It is important to wash those that come in direct contact with the grounds with a dish detergent, and to wipe down those that are in indirect contact to keep the scale and ‘oil steam’ clean. This ensures a great cup of coffee every time. And keeps your machine operating properly!”
“It is very easy to set up, register with the manufacturer and it looks great. Water reservoir is large and makes filling spill free. Best part is it makes great coffee! And its brew speed is quick. My favorite purchase so far this year. Not buying much currently, so this was a wonderful surprise.”

“If you have hard water issues with your coffeemaker this Mr Coffee 14 cup with water filter is the ticket. I am so happy to have found this and able to change filter cartridge monthly. It has an attractive clock display and is programmable. I’ve only had it since Christmas but am very pleased with the quality and performance. It has a programmable timer for the hot plate as well (1,2,3,or 4 hours). Love the taste, easy to clean and is relatively quiet, also has an alert when brewing is complete. All in all, great choice especially for those with well water.”
“Absolutely love this coffee pot. I’ve had it since Sunday. I ran clean water through it 3-4 times to rinse the new smell out of it. Then I’ve learned the buttons. You don’t have to use a coffee filter use the screen filter it comes with one water filter and the coffee is really better. So this is a good purchase. It worked out well price wise because I had an unknown gift card that paid some for it. But regardless it was a gift from my husband. The coffee is hot it has a beep when it’s through running. Very good purchase.”

Customer Reviews
“I’ve had 3 ‘SCA’ certified coffee makers over past 3 years. Techno verm mocca master which sucked and all coffee tasted like garbage. I returned that for a CAFE machine. That one was ok but leaked , pain in neck to clean and was never hot enough, AND the special button to put in ‘gold’ mode for SCA perfect temp coffee broke. I returned for 2nd one and coffee again was never hot enough. Temperature would range from like 156 degrees to 180. I sent in with Amazon warranty and it couldn’t be fixed. I decided to get. A highly reviewed ‘normal’ coffee maker. The cuisinart so far is awesome. Coffee actual hot. It tastes great. Easy to clean and large capacity. 100000% recommend it. I’mSo happy to have good cofffee.”
“The media could not be loaded. Making a good cup of Coffee for me as it is for many, a very serious morning event. I do not take it lightly. So as you can see from my short video, I am not afraid to invest in the process. But I’d like to think there are points of diminishing returns and that’s how I approached this purchase. You can spend mega bucks on a coffee brewer, but does that insure the best experience, the best end result. So I wanted an attractive, easy to use brewer that would not take up more counter space than necessary, and not break the bank. Enter the Cuisinart brewer. It is not the cheapest but it is far from the most expensive. I buy my coffee beans from a local roaster, grind my own coffee, and primarily drink light to medium roasted coffees. The Cuisinart once ordered was delivered within a couple days. Package was undamaged, it was double boxed. The brewer was easy to unpack and setup. I ran a pot of water through the brewer just to flush things out. Then brewed up a 8 cup pot. 8 cups really means about 4 decent sized coffee mugs of coffee. I used a tbs of coffee per cup for the brewing process. Using the Cuisinart was fairly straight forward. A series of buttons across the front panel gives you your brewing options and the tiny clock is surrounded by another series of buttons to set time, adjust the tone, and adjust the temp of the hot plate (low, medium, high). Inside the brewer once you lift the top lid, is a basket holding a reusable metal mesh filter. Be aware that the basket is all plastic and after you lift it out, must be set back into its proper position. You cannot just drop it in place. There is an ample opening to add your water. You must exercise some care in filling the coffee maker. The side of the coffee maker has a volume capacity indicator. The glass pot is nicely designed but careful as the glass may not be the most resistant to breaking, it is on the thin side. I’ve been using #4 paper filters for my brewing. Seems to work just fine. Now as for the brewing process, you can set a timer for automatic start or use the center button to initiate a start. I’ve done both, works well. As for the end product…..the brewed coffee is very good. Much will depend on what coffee you actually use and the quality of your water. Oh, and there is a charcoal filter for water filtration. It is found on the left interior side on the end of extended plastic piece. Not sure what else I can add here only to say that the machine does its job and the end result is good. For less than $100, money well spent.”

Customer Reviews
“This is a brand I’d not heard of but it is quite solid. We usually get the low end, not so full of programs and gadgets and settings. Just want a great cup of coffee that is good and hot when it’s ready. That’s exactly what you get. It wasn’t cheap really but it wasn’t a bank breaker, either. It’s easy to clean and the nice filter basket is a breeze to reuse. It fits our counter so well, doesn’t drip all over the place when you ‘steal a cup,’ and has a good clock. So far nothing glitchy. Will buy this brand again.”
“Working great, well made/good quality, and was shipped quickly and securely. It takes a bit of time to brew, but the coffee tastes very good. I really like that it pauses brewing when I pull out the coffee pot for a little bit of a drink while I’m waiting for the full brew. The company also emailed me a very nice ‘courtesy call’ thank you for purchasing and we are here to help should there be any unforeseen issues with their product.”

“I recently upgraded from an old coffee maker I had for years, and this one is such a great improvement. The programmable feature lets me wake up to fresh coffee, which makes mornings so much easier before work. It has a sleek design that looks great on my counter, and the removable water reservoir makes filling and cleaning simple. The adjustable warming plate keeps my coffee hot, which is a must. The coffee tastes smooth and flavorful, and I like that I can choose between Classic and Rich depending on how strong I want it. The clean feature is a great bonus and makes maintenance easy. Overall, a reliable, easy-to-use coffee maker with all the right features.”
“We just received this coffee maker yesterday after our high-end fancy Technivorn machine died from 6 years of daily use. We like the fact that it was highly rated and it was well under $100 and so far, we are happy with its operation, it’s designed and functionality. It was important to us that it had this capacity and the ability to set the machine in advance to make coffee the next morning, as well as to keep it warm once it’s brewed. It was also important that it had the ability to clean itself, so the clean cycle will certainly come in handy. The coffee we made today was excellent, perhaps even a little strong because we started out using the strong mode button so we may back off tomorrow just to see the difference and also adjust the dosage because we used 12 heaping scoops and it came out a little bit strong. We will update this review if necessary, but so far so good!”
