Customer Review: Love this thing. I bought reusable aluminum filters and paper filters that fit inside. Fresh brewed coffee without waste. It’s the perfect coffee maker. The only thing I’d like to as would be an adjustable grinder but as is it’s pretty great. The blinking lights issue discussed in these reviews is the unit indicating that it needs to be decalcified. The instructions follow: DECALCIFICATION Decalcification refers to removing the calcium deposits that form over time on the metal parts of the coffeemaker. When all the lights flash in sequence upon turning the unit on, it is time to decalcify your coffeemaker. We recommend decalcifying every month for best performance. But the frequency really depends upon the hardness of your tap water and how often you use the coffeemaker. Directions: Step 1: Vinegar Rinse • Fill water reservoir with 13 oz. of white vinegar and 26 oz. of water. • Place a mug or other container on the drip tray. • Open and close the brew head. • Press and hold the Power and 8 oz. buttons for 2 seconds to start decalcification function. • Discard contents of mug into the sink. • Repeat until Add Water light comes on. • When decalcification is complete, the Power and Grind buttons will illuminate. • Discard any remaining diluted vinegar into sink. Step 2: Fresh Water Rinse • Repeat Step 1 three times using fresh water in place of vinegar mixture. • This will clean the brewer’s plumbing and remove any residual vinegar taste.

Customer Review: This grind and brew coffee maker is perfect for anyone who wants fresh, flavorful coffee without extra steps, combining a built-in grinder with fast brewing in one compact machine. Overall, it’s a great space-saving option for home or office that gives you fresh coffee with minimal effort.

Customer Review: I’ve had this coffee maker for a while now, and it’s been consistently excellent—every cup is just right. The grinding function is super simple, and cleaning the grinder takes no effort. I’ve mostly used Keurig and Cuisinart machines in the past, and I’d often ended up disappointed with grind-and-brew combo models. I hadn’t heard of this brand before, but I took a chance on their Grind & Brew—and I’m so glad I did! I honestly thought I’d probably return it, but the first time I used it, I was blown away. I also love that it lets you brew three different ways: grind whole beans, use pre-ground coffee, or pop in a K-Cup. It looks sleek on the counter, too. Would definitely recommend this machine!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: If you like a hot, delicious cup of coffee, this is the machine for you. Fill the machine with beans and water and press the button for a perfect cup of coffee. It grinds the beans, drops them into its filter hopper and brews the coffee into your cup. The total process takes under three minutes. We used to brew an entire pot and throw away half of it so we are using less coffee. I use paper filters instead of the gold metal filter it comes with. That makes it easier to clean between cups. It looks nice on the counter even though its design is a bit old fashioned. The part that I also appreciate is that it is easy to clean. The entire burr grinder pops out to make it easy to wipe off oily coffee bean residue. The basket that holds the filer comes out very easily to dump between cups. I suggest purchasing a rolling tray to pull the machine out from under the cabinet. It does generate a bit of steam during brewing and it makes the water receptacle easier to reach. It if generates an error or refuses to brew, check yourself. It is probably stopping you from brewing the a second time into the filter basket or needs water or beans. Smart machine, just pay attention to it.

Customer Review: It took a bit to learn this pot for me. I recommend learning to disassemble it and put it back together before anything else. Once I learned it, it was fun to operate and makes a good cup of coffee. I love the various choices it has for sizes and strengths as well as ice coffee. I love that I can use either already ground or beans. It is a sharp looking pot. Cleaning isn’t hard.

Customer Review: An excellent grind and brew coffee maker with internet compatibility. Looks great, makes great coffee in various strengths. An insulated carafe makes for hot coffee over several hours. Although not dishwasher safe, it is very easy to clean…I thought that it was a good deal, I like having the coffee maker loaded with an option to start my morning coffee from my iPhone…

Customer Review: UPDATE: after just 3 months, the water started draining out under the machine. I contacted Amazon who told me return window closed but they would facilitate a return from the manufacturer; I received NOTHING. 2ND CALL to Amazon, no record of first call. 3RD CALL, spoke to customer service rep & language barrier made the conversation more difficult. He said no record of replacement order but he would send call tag to return. WHAT A HASSLE! HOW CAN I TRUST AMAZON to refund after this 3 RING CIRCUS??? SELLER NEEDS TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!!! I loved this coffee maker so much but this is HORRIBLE customer service on a $350 coffee maker that defected in less than 3 months!!!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Nice coffee maker for two or three people. It is compact and perfect for a condo or apartment or empty nesters. You can use coffee grounds or coffee beans. However, you have to manually adjust the amount of water ratio with the amount of grounds or beans. You cannot just set a button for the coffee strength or for four cups of coffee and it will grind the perfect amount of beans. This machine allows you to manually adjust the amount of water and the amount of beans, or grinds, for the strength of coffee you prefer by trial and error. You can also adjust the size of the grinds of the coffee beans to adjust the strength as well. The instructions assist you with all of this and it sounds more complicated than it is. After a few uses, you’ll be making the perfect coffee of your choice. Now onto the hot plate. The coffee carafe is made of hardened glass. That is a nice touch so you can see how much coffee you have. The carafe sets on a plate that keeps the coffee warm. That is a nice upgrade touch. It also has a safety shut off to prevent overheating. The whole unit has minimal parts and is super easy to clean. You can use it with or without a paper coffee filter. This is a perfectly priced small unit for someone who likes control when making their coffee.

Customer Review: Powerhouse machine in such a compact size! Time delay works great to have delicious freshly ground coffee waiting for me when I wake up in the morning.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Great machine, looks good, works great, meets all expectations

Customer Review: Update: after 4 months, this $500 machine is dead. What a disappointment! It won’t brew a full cup of coffee and constantly “thinks” it’s out of water even with a full tank. I have to keep pressing brew and then it only brews half a cup at most and leaves a disgusting explosion of coffee grounds and an overflowed waste water tank – leaving a huge mess. I have tried descaling and cleaning and nothing helps. DeLonghi customer support is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. Their customer service number plays a recorded message then HANGS UP on you during normal business hours and their chat bot just errors out and exits the chat without connecting to a human. What a total joke! Makes great coffee and an overall fantastic idea for those looking for single serve without the cost of nespresso, plastic contamination of keurig, etc; however several design flaws 1) the preground coffee feature (which I’ve tried to use for decaf) — does not work. The machine brews a small amount, then says it’s out of water (there’s plenty of water in the tank) and have to keep pressing start just for a few more drops to come out. At the end, it only brews half the size and makes a tremendous mess inside with coffee and water all over the place. 2) constantly “thinks” it’s out of water when you turn it on. Have to then re-start / re-cycle the machine 3) wastes a lot of water. Much of the water that should be used to make coffee instead gets used to rinse the machine and ends up in a waste bucket Stills deciding if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

A: Yes, most models listed—including the Horavie, Cuisinart, and AIRMSEN—support K-Cups alongside whole beans and pre-ground coffee. Always check compatibility before purchasing.

Q: How often should I clean my coffee maker with a built-in grinder?

A: We recommend rinsing removable parts after each use and performing a deep clean (descaling and grinder wipe-down) monthly. Some models like the AIRMSEN 2026 offer self-clean alerts.

Q: Are burr grinders better than blade grinders?

A: Absolutely. Burr grinders produce consistent particle size, leading to balanced extraction and richer flavor. Blade grinders vary in coarseness, affecting taste quality.

Q: Do these machines make iced coffee?

A: Not all do, but some premium models like the De’Longhi True Brew support iced coffee brewing. Check product specs for this feature.

Q: Is it worth buying a single-serve grind-and-brew over a traditional drip machine?

A: If you drink one cup at a time or hate waste, yes. These machines eliminate leftover coffee and offer customization. However, if you always brew multiple cups, a standard drip maker may be more efficient.
