Customer Review: “Works great, looks great, wife loves it. Looks like it’s made of metal, but it’s plastic/composite. So far so good, seems solid, even comes with a cover (guessing so you don’t accidently push the sprayer without a glass). For our install it came with everything we needed.”
3. 5-Hole High Pressure Brass & Stainless Steel Automatic Cup Washer for Kitchen Sink
I installed this cup rinser in my kitchen sink and the install itself was straightforward. I already had a cutout in the sink, so it dropped right in and hooking up the water line was easy. Once it was connected, the sprayer part worked as expected. It shoots water up into the cup and does a good job rinsing things out quickly, which is exactly what I wanted it for.My main issue is that it does not come with the bottom plate that’s shown in the pictures. Without that plate, water ends up splashing everywhere around the rinser and some of it goes behind the sink, which obviously isn’t great. I’m not sure why that part wasn’t included since it looks like part of the setup in the photos. I ended up 3D printing a plate to go underneath it, and that fixed most of the mess. With that workaround in place, it works fine and does what it’s supposed to do. Still, it feels incomplete out of the box and a little misleading. If that plate was included, I’d have very few complaints. As it stands, it’s a decent product but you may need to get creative to make it work cleanly.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ Brass and stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting durability
- ✓ High-pressure multi-angle nozzle blasts away tough residue
- ✓ Universal star-shaped actuator fits various glass diameters
- ✓ Head-only design allows compatibility with existing trays
Why We Recommend It
If you’re looking for maximum value without sacrificing core performance, this brass-and-steel model delivers impressive results at an affordable price point. While installation requires a bit more attention due to missing components, its robust build and effective cleaning action make it ideal for budget-conscious buyers who still want quality.
Best For
Budget shoppers who prioritize function over form and don’t mind doing minor modifications during setup.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Premium brass and stainless steel materials resist corrosion
- Powerful spray reaches deep into narrow-necked bottles
- Affordable alternative to name-brand models
- Works with standard sink cutouts
Cons:
- Does not include mounting tray shown in product images
- May require custom solutions to prevent water splashback
- Limited customer support availability

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Excellent, easy to install and works fantastic and feels quality.”
Customer Review: “I find it works very well with all glassware, mugs, and Stanley and Yeti mugs. It easily rinses tall water bottles too.Took me about an hour to install but would have taken about 30 min because i had to disconnect some drain plumbing to get access. The video makes it very clear.I would suggest you adjust the water pressure with cutoff valve. I found it took a fair amount of pressure to push down the disc when I had the valve completely open. I adjusted it to make sure there was enough pressure to completely rinse tall water bottles. The spring on the valve is a bit stiff. The only concern I have is with delicate crystal wine glasses. For these I push down on the valve with my free hand.”

Customer Review: “I found out about this bottle rinser when replacing our Delta Leland kitchen faucet, and from Tik Tok. I’ve seen these style rinsers in cafe’s as well, where they’re used to wash out steam pitchers. We have 3 small kids in the house, so this gets a lot of use. Works well with insulated stainless steel water bottles that have a very skinny neck. Some of our coffee cups are a bit too big to fit. It’s most effective if you use it right away, you don’t even need soap then. If whatever’s in the cup has been sitting for a while, best to use some soap. Even then, still faster and less mess than trying to use the sprayer on our kitchen faucet. We got the stainless version (the cheaper SpotShield stainless is plastic, I believe, we got a real metal one). I wish it was a bit cheaper. The stainless one is very hefty, and solid metal (except for the black plastic bits). This makes it easy to clean (you can just pop the black plastic bit off for easy access to everything). The metal cover that comes with it is a much thinner, cheaper metal (looks fine, just not as heavy, we never use it anyway). Color-wise, it’s not an exact match to our Delta SpotShield Stainless faucet, it’s much shinier and probably closer match to Delta’s Arctic Stainless (which is bluer) or their normal Stainless maybe. But after a few weeks of use, it’s hard to tell the difference anymore (the faucet in the photo is our Delta SpotShield Stainless one).Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase, just wish we’d bought it sooner when we were rinsing so many baby bottles every day!”
Complete Buying Guide for Glass Rinsers
Essential Factors We Consider
When evaluating glass rinsers, we prioritize several key aspects: **installation ease**, **material quality**, **spray effectiveness**, **compatibility with existing plumbing**, and **design integration** with your kitchen aesthetic. Durability matters just as much as daily usability—after all, you’ll be using it repeatedly! Water pressure consistency ensures thorough cleaning without wasted effort, while universal sizing accommodates various glass types. Finally, consider whether you prefer standalone units or combo models that add extra functionality.
Budget Planning
Glass rinsers span a wide price range, typically from $30 for basic plastic models to over $100 for premium metal versions. Entry-level options like Delta’s GR150 offer excellent value for casual users, while mid-range picks such as Kraus’ CleanMate balance cost and quality. If budget allows, investing in solid metal constructions like Delta’s GR250-BL pays dividends through extended lifespan and superior performance. Remember to factor in potential installation costs if hiring professionals, though most DIY-friendly kits require only basic tools.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right glass rinser transforms kitchen efficiency and enjoyment. Whether you prioritize sleek design, powerful cleaning, or affordability, there’s a model tailored to your needs. Brands like Kraus and Delta consistently deliver reliable results, while innovative designs from AquaDuo and Homewerks expand functionality beyond traditional expectations. By matching features to your lifestyle—whether it’s frequent entertaining or daily family routines—you’ll find a glass rinser that truly enhances your smart kitchen experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I install a glass rinser myself?
A: Yes, nearly all modern glass rinsers feature DIY-friendly designs with clear instructions and included hardware. Most require connecting a supplied water line to your existing faucet using a tee fitting, then inserting the unit into a pre-cut sink hole. No specialized plumbing skills are needed.
Q: Do glass rinsers work with both hot and cold water?
A: Many models, including Delta and Kraus offerings, include tee connectors that allow connection to either hot or cold lines independently. Always check specifications before purchasing to confirm flexibility.
Q: Will a glass rinser fit my sink?
A: Standard glass rinsers require a 1.875-inch diameter sink opening—the same size used for soap dispensers. Measure your existing hole or verify compatibility with new installations. Some brands provide adapters for non-standard sizes.
Q: Are metal glass rinsers worth the extra cost?
A: Absolutely. Solid metal bodies resist corrosion far better than plastic composites and often feature stronger spray mechanisms. While pricier upfront, they typically last decades longer than cheaper alternatives.
Q: How do I clean my glass rinser?
A: Simply remove the actuator head (usually twists off), rinse both parts under warm water, and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Regular maintenance prevents mineral buildup and ensures optimal spray performance.
In conclusion, upgrading to a quality glass rinser is one of the simplest yet most impactful improvements you can make to your kitchen workflow. From powerful spray patterns to elegant finishes, these devices blend form and function seamlessly. Whether you choose the versatile Kraus CleanMate, the robust Delta GR250-BL, or the budget-friendly Homewerks GR001SS, each option brings convenience and efficiency to your daily routine.
