My old microwave was higher wattage, but I have not had to add much extra time to heat things up. The beeping is a bit annoying, but I’m getting used to it. It tells you when it’s HOT, which is a good safety feature. A lot of smudges on the stainless steel parts, but that’s expected. It fits in the standard microwave spot in my cabinets above my kitchen counter.”

It took a little to get used to the controls but now it’s fine. A little odd that the main microwave button ‘Cook time’ is in a random spot rather than at the top or highlight it somehow. Wish companies used white type on black rather than the light grey (I ain’t getting any younger!). It is also a bit underpowered but not a big deal. The most annoying this this thing beeps soooo loud! So loud. I contacted GE to see if the volume could be turned down and they said no. That said, you wouldn’t be able to tell that from just looking as it’s just as slick and modern in style as that of any of the household brands in the marketplace. It cooks fast and with ease and I find its spacious 1.6 Cu. Ft volume affords plenty of space for even the most largest Thanksgiving turkey one could ever plan for in all likelihoods. You won’t fit multiple racks in tiers but that’s just what you get with single-door convection ovens.I like the preset options and the user can consult the manual which while I admit is helpful, one still would need getting used to with continued use as one would for a new microwave if that makes sense here. This thing weighs a ton, over 110lbs so save your back, use a dolly if you have one or get a buddy to help you with the installation. And if I had to nitpick, it’s that you’d need an existing ‘infrastructure’ as opposed to just freeing up space somewhere.First, your kitchen would need to be wired to support 20 Amps. Old homes may not have this luxury and even the semi-modern ones max out at 20A for kitchens. This can and will cause the breakers to trip at times. So for the sake of saving incessant trips down to the basement to reset the breakers or otherwise for general safety, I’d really recommend this oven combo appliance for homes outfitted with 25A or higher. Other than that, it comes with a standard wall plug so no special outlets are needed which is convenient.Secondly, it’s a 30” oven that is surprisingly large and bulky in size. Please check dimensions before ordering as it’s not exactly a countertop device if that makes sense here. You might need to make customized furniture to accommodate something like this properly so again, FYI there. All in all, 5 out of 5 stars. Just keep in mind that this appliance is really a big investment in more ways than one.”

My last microwave combo was a Frigidaire and it went bad less than 1 year. Very bad! Never heard such a racket in the back control unit were not allowed to open. Was so loud in all 3 modes. Their customer service was non existent! After over a week I was still needing more proof that I bought it from Walmart that is all on their records. Anyways done with anything Frigidaire makes. Also Walmart will not do anything after 90 days. Nothing so hit a dead end. Took the loss and moved on. This Toshiba I now have is so well made and way easier to use than the videos showed. Takes up the same room as the one it replaced. Love the air fryer for many things. The microwave was also needed. This is one well made machine! My husband loved our Breville Toaster Oven we have and it has been great but I wanted something more. His complaint was he enjoyed his toast every day and an air fryer to him did not spell toast.Christmas was fast approaching and I just knew my request was a maybe so taking things into my own hands, I ordered an Air Fryer. When it arrived my sweet husband set it up and was going to surprise me. Thank goodness I looked at it first. It was smaller than our microwave. I knew I had not done may homework well enough and no way was it going to cook a pizza. Back it went.Studying every review for many brands, I looked up comparison charts and then announced we were getting this Ninja Air Fryer. After presenting the research I had done on the many models and makes, we together ordered this Ninja French Door model. This appliance has the French doors and they open together making it so easy to be one handed, loading chicken or anything else.Unwrapping the air fryer was like Christmas all over again. It comes so well packed and with each paper to unwrap comes another feature. It was so exciting to see each new piece imagining what the element would prepare for us. My photographs will show you up close the quality of packing and details of the fryer. By the time I thought about pictures, we had already induldged so the plate looks a little empty!Now, let me tell you about the chicken. I first tried out chicken wings. Great appetizer to set on the table? Not a chance! These were so good, they never made it to the table and dinner did not move forward. It was the best fried chicken I had ever had without deep fried chicken in grease! All we did was to rinse the wings, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, and drop them into a zip lock bag with corn starch. Shake them around to coat them evenly and into the air fryer with space around each wing. That’s it! I was raised in the deep south where fried chicken and corn bread were a weekly staple.The very next day my husband went back to the store and bought the value pack of chicken wings. He wanted to try the larger wings whole. They took longer to cook but they were as crispy. I also wanted to buy the boneless skinless chicken breast and slice them like tenders. These should have been breaded. The skin on the wings were better equipped to crisp up easier but still heavily.While the chicken was cooking, what better than fried potatoes with chicken and white pepper gravy to dip it all in? Onward to another course to add to our not dinner! Oh my! The potatoes were amazing. They were so good we took a plate full to our neighbor who was not feeling like eating anything. She only lives five minutes away and she called before my husband returned and had eaten all but one! So, potato wedges we’re next to try. And honey roasted carrots.The cookbook offers a one pan meal with a protein and vegetables roasted. Oh my gosh! Baking corn bread was another find.Our pizza was too large as it was rectangular but we will do it again smaller or round.Next we tried the Carne Asada recipe in the cookbook that came with the air fryer. I had never cooked flank steak. The marinade they have in this recipe is crucial. A tough cut of meat was as tender as any filet mignon! We did cook it about three minutes longer to sear it darker.So far nothing is not just wonderful. Every night we just try something different. I cannot tell you how long its been since we have had so much fun playing with recipes to cook in our oven! This air fryer has brought life back to the kitchen.I do wish it were larger but it does fine for the two of us and with planning, an easy way to prepare many dishes for company.Enjoy this oven we believe from our results, and comparing its to other brands with our friends, surpasses any other.One last thing. We are bad at buying new gadgets and they end up on a wire rack stored in the garage, used only once. It can be used as an air fryer, a toaster over, and a convection oven. The interior can hold a decent amount of food, the french doors can be both opened with one hand (opening one also opens the other), the controls are very easy to set and use, and the build quality seems pretty good. I got this on sale for the holidays, and for what I paid this was a no-brainer. It works much better and faster than our previous unit, and does’t take up much more counter space — it’s got a similar footprint to a small microwave oven and will easily fit under standard height cabinets. The external case doesn’t get warm when in use. It’s easy to clean. We’re happy with it, and have no reservations recommending it to others.”

It heats quicker (about 30 seconds faster on average) than my previous oven. Price.Cons: It slides around on the countertop when you open or close the door. You need both hands to open the door due to the sliding. The panel background color is not a great match with the rest of the white unit; it’s slightly blue-grey vs white. The panel is already beggining to show some warping, almost starting to peel off. The inner plate can slide off the circular track easily and is much smaller than similar units.Bottomline: If you have a small space, this oven is priced low and heats well but there are some inconveniences and design /aesthetic flaws.”

Customer Review: “I obsessed over the choice between this one and the top rated breville. Price played a part but the extensive positive reviews made this my choice. It is truly excellent. I don’t know how they could make it any better! Clean looking exterior and well lit and functional interior. The only issue I had was with using the top two slot for tray. Nowhere does it tell you that there is a left side bracket (that prevents the tray from falling down). This bracket prevents you from pushing in or using those slots unless you insert it partway then lift the rack around this stop. I love it now that hubby figured out that problem.The broil tray is coated with nice amt of non stick material. It heats up quickly and so far everything has come out crispy and pretty true to time expected. The presets are same as menu book but I don’t see a treason to use them as it is quite easy to change settings as you need them. It is very easy to clean if done after each use. It is easy to pull out racks if you buy one of the rack pullers listed on this site. I have not measure internal temp but it seems to be cooking as expected with no burning. I have tried griddle yet but love the idea of two sides . Navigation by knobs is really intuitive. It’s obvious a lot of thought went into R&D. Interior lighting is very bright. Accessories are of nice weight and easy to clean. Use a small brush on basket after soaking. This is a top notch devise and I don’t understand why it isn’t rated on many review sites. Don’t let that sway you; this is among the very best….and I am a picky consumer.”

Customer Review: “I don’t know any other way of saying this, but after going through several highly expensive Breville toaster ovens (all breaking anywhere from 2-3 years, I had given up on trying to find another toaster oven from any brand.But as all of us tend to do, while perusing on Amazon, we came across the NuWave brand, and I happened to see this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill Combo, 2025 New Ultra-Fast Convection System, and decided to pull the trigger and ordered one.Not being aware of the NuWave brand, I knew I was taking a chance, but ordered it anyway. It came in record time (like next day). When I opened the box (well packaged by the way), I found a variety of accessories, trays, a sizable cook book with various interesting recipes, and basic instruction manual and an additional card to register for a full 5 year warranty (which I did quickly).Firstly, this NuWave toaster oven looks great. It is substantial lighter feeling than the previous much heavier Brevilles, but I’ve got to say that the heat coming from the outside of this NuWave oven is not as hot as what I experienced with the Breville models – now go figure. That was actually a nice revelation because in the past, I had burned myself coming in touch with the outside side and top panels of the Brevilles. But I’m not getting that from this NuWave – now go figure? Granted, it still gets warm – don’t get me wrong here – but just not as piercingly hot (on the outside) as some of the other brands do.This entire unit with its various buttons is very intuitive – no having to scratch your head in order to figure out how to do something. And there are a wealth of options. A child could do it, and everything cooks perfectly. We have no complaints with regard to cooking temperatures, and we couldn’t be happier. Why I hadn’t investigated the NuWave brand in the past is beyond me, and to get a full 5-year warranty was wonderful to say the least. Customer Review: “When my Cuisinart toaster/fryer died I took a chance on this for half the price and absolutely love it. Cavernous in size, numerous rack and tray configurations and the french doors are brilliant and operate flawlessly. The controls take a bit of learning due to many great features, but they are intuitive and simple to operate. One knob does most of everything. I love that you can turn the light on and off and that it has dedicated preheat cycles. And on top of all that, it cooks very well. Easily the best of the 4 air fryers I’ve had to date. It also looks great and is all flat surfaces, so its very easy to clean. 3 months in its been a home run. Don’t be fooled by brand names. All your favorites sold out to private equity. They’re shell companies now. Midea is basically China’s General Electric and many of its products were designed by Toshiba. You won’t find anything close to this quality at this price. Customer Review: “I seriously cannot believe that I was able to bake a full sized loaf of bread using my cast iron bread loaf pan (AND I realize now that I can fit TWO cast iron loaf pans comfortably if I want to) – it came out perfect. I tried the convection mode and foil for the last 10 minutes (but i had to do foil in my regular oven anyway). I will invest in a Dutch oven with a cover (I’ve been meaning to buy one anyway) – then I won’t need the foil at all anymore. Cookies came out GREAT no burnt bottoms – crispy and chewy and PERFECT. The french doors are an aesthetic bonus, and they are functional – they both open at the same time, which is nice. The unit is sturdy/built well and nice looking and has a THREE PRONG plug – which for safety reasons I passed on another popular brand with very similar features (and slightly roomier) with French doors – the two prong plug was a NO for me, regardless of the extra space. Anyway, it is a GREAT toaster oven, the knob and buttons are very distinct and easy to use (not like the electronic ‘pads’ some toaster ovens have) – which I don’t like too much, while at the same time, offering most of the same up to date features. I don’t understand the criticisms regarding the knob and buttons not being ‘intuitive’ (it does not operate via AI??? – they are simple, straightforward, and easy to use – honestly) I am very picky, and I love this toaster oven for the purposes I need it – and it looks elegant on my kitchen counter with a small footprint for what it handles. It was a great buy:) More than satisfied on this end:)”
