BEST of ALL this actually comes with a template! no need to pull out the level, measuring tape, etc. just put the template on the wall where you want this to go. drill through the pre-marked holes. partially tighten down the uppermost two screws to slide in place first. then tighten them up all the way before screwing in the next two lower screws.now in place i am confident it will stand up to the test of time. no sagging or other issues at all. the fan pulls a lot of air, more than i expected. the fan noise isn’t loud at all. not silent but quieter than most vent fans we’ve used in the past.the three metal grates come out easily by pulling on the plastic tabs on each, same holds true for putting them back in place. the light is very good, bright and makes seeing things on the stove top easy.it looks good, works well and was a breeze to install! that included template made the whole process go so much easier and i could not be happier as a consequence.i am very pleased with this oven hood vent and would without hesitation purchase it again if for any reason we needed another.”
