Customer Reviews
“Before I write any reviews, I always look through and read all the one and two stars. As an online shopper, I’m always weary about purchasing online, especially when I’m dropping a few hundred on an item. To my surprise, at the time I wrote this review there were 34 five stars and 1 four star. The four star review was based on someones perspective regarding ‘seems’ in the sink, and it being hard to clean. I have not had that issue, nor have I really seen any ‘seems’. Just thought I’d throw that out there. The first thing that stuck out to me when I received this purchase was how well it was packaged. I should have recorded an unboxing, because it really deserved it, if the seller wants to send me another I’d be more than happy to record an unboxing and share it back with them. But the packaging was immaculate. To defend the sides of the box, they reinforced the entire outside of the product with thin, but sturdy wooden panels. The wood is about as thick as the material they use for kitchen drawer bottoms. I’ve been purchasing the same type of wood for my kitchen remodel so I know the cost for the wood alone isn’t cheep. The top of the box was reinforced with thick foam. Seriously, the best packaging I’ve seen from an Amazon purchase yet. If you are weary about how something like this will fare through shipping, do not hesitate on this seller. Now on to the product; the sink itself is definitely high quality. It’s thick and the sound dampening is awesome. Its well engineered and looks amazing. The install was extremely easy. I should probably note this is the first time I’ve ever installed a sink. From all the videos I watched, under mounted sinks are the easiest to install (in my opinion), especially if you are going to do it yourself. The only thing I found odd about the product was the inclusion of these mounting clips. In the instructions It outlines that you can place these clips on the underside of the sides of the sink. That was near impossible based on the space available between the basin walls and the walls of my cabinet. But what I did instead was, I created the under sink support system as outlined in the instructions, but I made sure the supports fell flush against the sides of the sink basin, and made sure I cut the to a length that was true to the amount of the apron I wanted sticking out of the front. Doing this keeps someone from pushing the sink backwards. I laid quartz on top and other adhesives, so the sink cannot be lifted up, down or pushed backward. But I’m sure if you pulled it hard enough, you could probably get it to slide out, but probably not with the type of adhesive I used on top of the support beams. Long story short, it’s an easy install. The sink is beautiful, so are the accessories they come with. It does not come with a drain that will support a garbage disposal, but you can either use your old hardware or buy a new drain compatible with a garbage disposal for $20 at Lowe’s. If you’re shopping for sinks, I would highly recommend!” – Verified Buyer
“My ultimate kitchen helper! This sink is so functional. Cutting board is good quality. Strainer is large enough to wash your gallon size local strawberry haul. Drying rack can easily be rolled and stored. The front and back lips allow all the accessories to stay in place. The size is great for the washing larger kitchen gadgets or prepping a Thanksgiving turkey.” – Verified Buyer

Customer Reviews
“Overall there is nothing not to like about the sink and the really neat accessories. However, the cutting boards are all bamboo, a yellow bamboo. The advertising pamphlet that came with the sink and some of the videos and even the online pictures show other woods, maybe acacia, being used for the cutting board material and I would have rather had those. I’m considering modifying better looking cutting boards with my router, sander and table saw to get that look. If given an option, I would have chosen the accessories in the other wood and paid more. Bamboo looks cheap and delaminates easily. The sink doesn’t take up my whole 48″ base cabinet, it’s lip is the 45″ measurement and the sink itself is 43ish inches. It’s still huge and worth considering getting 2 faucets which feels overly opulent.I’m using kraus faucet as seen in the video and an RO faucet, I’m on the fence about adding a second. I have the extendable spray head but it doesn’t reach the very corners physically, though the spray pattern with good water pressure would. I just don’t have great water pressure with my well system.I am going to ask the countertop installers to mount the sink with more angle, potentially swimming it another 16th of and inch down on the drain side and sanding down the plywood base under the countertop. This would enhance the drainage on the slope.I believe a reviewer with poor drainage may have had a countertop install or mounting of this sink with the wrong slope, mitigating the built in angle of slope in the sink.I will update with photos when it is installed. I’ve never had such an enormous sink. I can’t wait to do my prep work in the sink area and save the spillage and the debris from my surrounding counters. This sink will be used to facilitate large canning projects, processing large volumes of citrus for juice and day to day baking and cooking, and of course washing dishes, especially large pots.Update:Sink installed. The water doesn’t drain as another reviewer mentioned.not enough contour and negative contour result in large pockets of water standing and consequently leaving waters pots as evaporation in my dry climate occur. We have waited the customary 24 hours before installing and the counters are pretty level, a 1/16 over 30 inch expanse in drop from back of counters to front does exist. We will be adding a 13lb garbage disposal soon and I am hoping this assists in drainage, especially from the right front corner. Where water just sits.I’ll be using rain X to hopefully assist with water beading and cleanup.Looks like I need a squeegee to clean this 1000 sink (with tax).I will suggest you get with your countertop installers and you slightly shim your sink and check the level to assist with drainage I may be able to add extra support to my sink front and level out the 1/16 of an inch. This pool of standing water in the front of the sink is ridiculous.Overall, it’s a very cool, grand statement sink that you can bathe 2 year old twins within, but it doesn’t drain well even though it is contoured and sloped.Update: now the sink is fully functioning. Has the disposal installed: which means you don’t get to use their nice deep drain that is included and fits their cap and drain basket, and the water and the food particulate definitely pools over 1/8″ in the front right corner vs going into the drain. So you must have an extending spray nozzle to clean that all up. The pooling issues and the reluctant drainage has prompted me to buy a squeegee. I now have a squeegee in my sink, suctioned onto the side and I wash dishes etc then squeegee the puddles into the drain. Definitely what I was hoping for, but I am enjoying having all the room for things to drain into the sink at the other end. So, you will lose the convenience of a sink that drains well and gain the convenience of a chopping surface and a drying rack and a Hollander etc that all drain into the sink instead of onto your counters.Make sure you have your stainless steel cleaner and you have your spot remover. It’s going to be a lot more cleaning with this sink. I’m considering rainX to deflect some droplets.” – Verified Buyer
“I love the sink.. It looks stylish and I like how wide and deep it is. I was concerned about having corners that were not rounded, but it’s not a problem at all. Also, I thought all the extra accessories were unnecessary but now that I have them, I love them. I particularly love the drying rack.” – Verified Buyer

Complete Buying Guide for Stainless Steel Sinks That Don T Scratch
Essential Factors We Consider
When evaluating non-scratch stainless steel sinks, we focus on three core elements: material thickness (gauge), steel grade, and protective features. Thicker gauges (like 16-gauge) resist denting and scratching better than thinner ones. Look for T304 or T304L stainless steel—it’s food-grade, corrosion-resistant, and durable. Additionally, sound-dampening pads and tight corner designs reduce wear and improve usability. Always check if the sink includes a protective grid or comes with accessories that shield the surface during use.
Budget Planning
You don’t need to spend $800+ to get a scratch-resistant sink. Our top budget pick, the Ruvati workstation sink, delivers 16-gauge quality at a mid-range price. For under $100, consider protective racks like the SunnyPoint model—they safeguard your investment without replacing the entire sink. Remember: thicker gauges cost more, but they last longer and require fewer replacements. Plan for $200–$500 for a full kitchen upgrade with workstation features.
Final Thoughts
A stainless steel sink that won’t scratch is achievable with the right materials and smart design. Prioritize 16-gauge T304 steel, workstation layouts, and included protective accessories. Whether you choose a farmhouse classic or a compact bar sink, these top-rated options prove durability and style can coexist. Invest wisely, and your sink will serve you scratch-free for years.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I keep my stainless steel sink from scratching?
A: Use a sink protector grid when washing dishes, avoid dragging metal items directly on the surface, and clean with non-abrasive cloths. Regular maintenance with stainless steel cleaner also preserves the finish.
Q: Are thicker gauges really better at resisting scratches?
A: Yes. Thicker gauges (like 16-gauge) are less likely to dent or scratch than thinner ones (18-gauge). They provide structural integrity and longevity, especially in busy kitchens.
Q: Can I use steel wool on stainless steel sinks?
A: Avoid steel wool—it leaves permanent marks. Instead, use soft sponges or nylon scrubbers. If needed, opt for green Scotch-Brite pads sparingly and rinse thoroughly afterward.
Q: Do all stainless steel sinks scratch?
A: No. High-quality sinks made from 304 stainless steel with proper finishes resist scratches significantly better than lower-grade alternatives. Protective grids and mindful usage further reduce wear.
Q: How often should I replace my stainless steel sink?
A: With proper care, a well-made stainless steel sink lasts 20+ years. Replace only if you notice deep cracks, severe corrosion, or structural damage—not from minor surface wear.
Choosing a stainless steel sink that doesn’t scratch doesn’t mean sacrificing style or affordability. From workstation designs to farmhouse classics, the products on this list combine toughness with thoughtful features like soundproofing, fast drainage, and included protectors. Whether you’re outfitting a full kitchen or adding a secondary sink, investing in quality materials ensures your sink stays looking new—and functioning flawlessly—for years to come. Ready to upgrade?
