The only catch is the filtration cartridge is built into the faucet head so you can’t replace the cartridge which is supposed to be change every three months. The filter is designed to be replaced every 3 months so in effect you have to replace the entire faucet head unit. At $22 a pop that’s not exactly economical.”

“At a point where I needed to buy more filters for my Brita pitcher, that I used for drinking water and coffee maker, I explored options for faucets that provided filtered water and was delighted to find this one at such a reasonable price! We finally had our faucet installed this week, and I really like it! I was concerned that the small lever used for turn on/off and temperature would not be ideal but, actually, I find it easier and less messy than my previous larger handle, as far less water is splashed when maneuvering — plus there is no worry about fingerprints. Both the stream and spray options on the regular faucet work well and, although the extension sprayer option is much shorter than my previous faucet’s, the spray is so strong that it shouldn’t be a problem.The addition of filtered water directly from the faucet is a huge benefit. Though the stream from the spout is slower and smaller than expected, which means more time to fill glasses or pots, it will work. Also, as it is new and was installed by a plumber (who was impressed with the faucet), I don’t know if the filter was properly installed or if the slower water flow is due to a greater amount of contaminates in my water. I will be interested to see if it works better when a filter change is required and I can see what is going on. Supposedly, the filters can last up to six months, which may not be the case for me — but it shouldn’t be as frequent as my pitcher required.All in all, so far I am pleased with my purchase and the quality and appearance of this faucet. I will update if there are changes in my opinion … but I’m looking forward to years of a good filtered water source for drinking and cooking, not to mention a tad more counter space from getting rid of the water pitcher.”

I love that it has the stop flow button. I do wish that the sprayer would default to regular flow after it’s been turned off. I am surprised by it spraying when I turn it on after someone else has used it. It’s a strong spray! I’m trying to remember to check which way it’s toggled before turning it in, as I’ll never train anyone else to toggle it to normal flow when they finish using it. 😉 We’ve had no problems with leaks, etc., and my husband had no problem installing it. The height is good and the swivel function works well (not loose— some faucets swivel too much on their own). Very happy with purchase and would recommend.”

“I love this Brita Faucet Filter.I use it constantly.This is my second one, the other I’ve had for about 8 years. It’s still working, this one will finally replace it. It’s only done because the cartridges are hard to seat, because our water is horrible, but this water through this filter tests clean.I do watch for the green indicator when it’s showing red and change it immediately.
