Can’t go wrong with. Especially the price, very affordable. The air fryer works great. I like the different settings. Used the broiler on salmon, is very even browned and fast. Can’t go wrong with this one.I’ll be on later for update for longevity.Only had this one a few months ago.
Customer Review: This is just what I wanted! Great and big enough for everything I do. Such power! Well packed and fast 1 day FREE delivery. My last microwave combo was a Frigidaire and it went bad less than 1 year. Very bad! Never heard such a racket in the back control unit were not allowed to open. Was so loud in all 3 modes. Their customer service was non existent! After over a week I was still needing more proof that I bought it from Walmart that is all on their records. Anyways done with anything Frigidaire makes. Also Walmart will not do anything after 90 days. Nothing so hit a dead end. Took the loss and moved on. This Toshiba I now have is so well made and way easier to use than the videos showed. Takes up the same room as the one it replaced. Love the air fryer for many things. The microwave was also needed. This is one well made machine! Such a pain without having even a microwave for the week I spent trying to get customer service to do something with my warranty.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: First, it is probably important to know that I am transitioning from an old Samsung Convection Toaster Oven to this and I have only been using this for two weeks.I looked at other options but they seemed huge (in size). One of the complaints I have read about the Ninja SP101 is that it is smaller. It is. It is good sized in depth and width but lacks (for some) in height. For me, that works but even when I made a good sized amount of nachos I had to press it down a bit so it didn’t get too near the heating element. I am single and cook for 1-2 people and this is ideal. It takes up a bit larger footprint than my ancient Samsung but is lower profile. I don’t mind the lower profile (I prefer it) and unless you are wanting to cook multiple items or any foods that are higher vertical then this is fine. It also looks good sitting on my counter.PROS:I like the controls and after a short learning curve is pretty simple to use. This pre-heats up quickly and cooks fast. The first item I cooked was frozen fries and used the Air Fryer. The fries were crisp and tasty. I was very happy with this.I toasted bread and bagels and it seemed to toast fairly uniformly taking a bit longer that I thought it would considering how powerful this oven is. I’m good with this.I used Air Broil to make nachos and it was perfect and quick!I used Bake to make some cookies and used parchment paper and it worked well.I ordered the casserole dish, thinking the higher sides would help prevent messes. Last night I cooked a wok dinner with tofu cubes, peppers, onions, noodles (boiled first), carrots, broccoli, celery and cashews with a teriyaki marinade. OMG, this was so good and no messes and the new casserole dish is non stick and although lighter and most likely cheaper (in quality), I prefer using this to the pan that came with the oven. Dinner was delicious!I have not used Dehydrate and Keep Warm functions yet.The light is a nice feature.CONS:During Air Fry the left front corner seems to cook hotter and burnt the edges of my french fries in this corner. The fries (in just this corner) were still edible just blackened.I have read that some customers thought the oven was difficult to clean. The sheet pan included with the oven is heavier than the casserole dish I later purchased but it seems more difficult to clean, as I had to make a few attempts to remove cheese. The surface is not smooth and has small bumps on it that concern me, but really not with reason as of yet. My main focus is to keep the oven clean and prevent splattering and boil overs as the heating elements are exposed and I feel are vulnerable. I will be using parchment paper and using the casserole dish more than the sheet pan. I have not made pizza yet but my concern here is that if I set the pizza on the rack there is nothing below it to catch any potential mess and can fall on the heating elements. There is the crumb tray but that is below the heating element. My initial thought was to place the cooking sheet under the wire rack and it does fit so this would protect the heating element but if I’m going to do this, I probably should just use the cooking sheet pan instead. I have often considered putting a silicone baking sheet under the wire rack to catch any drippings or mess but, again, does this defeat the open cooking of using the wire rack? I’d prefer to cook a pizza in a pan rather than drip on the heating element as my biggest concern (from other reviews) was that once it drips on the element it is nearly impossible to clean. Right now I am operating under the delusion of keeping the SP101 new but this is not practical (for any oven). It would be nice if the tray was spring loaded and would come out when the door was opened. You must manually pull out the tray or wire rack to remove from oven so you really need to have oven mitts at the ready to even add ingredients. My Air Fry Basket has a minor defect in the middle of it but is minor.Other:I don’t use the flip feature as I’m OK with its footprint and as I said earlier, it looks good sitting on the counter. But the flip feature does work well and if you are interested in this feature it seems worthwhile.I have been pulling the oven out when I use it to keep the cord away from the oven and giving it more space to ventilate. I have a plastic can opener mounted above where I use the oven. Even after a 450 degree cooking the can opener is warm to the touch but does not get too hot. The sides of the oven don’t get overly hot (but the glass does). This seems well built and I probably don’t need to pull it out but will continue to do so.I don’t think I will ever have a reason to use my regular oven again. This oven is big enough (for my cooking needs) and this oven pre-heats so much faster than my big oven, cooks more evenly and is more convenient. I am going to give my big oven a good cleaning and know it will stay clean as I probably won’t use it again. This oven is a good air fryer and I am impressed with the results, but I have never had an air fryer before. All the other functions seem really good. The wire rack and sheet pan are sturdy but I wish the sheet pan could support itself using the rails like how the air fry basket does. The air fry basket is flexible but still sturdy and mine had a minor defect. The crumb try is fine. I really like the added casserole tray. I would highly recommend this product unless you need or want the extra height of the Cuisinart TOA60. The Cuisinart, after reading reviews, was my first pick but after looking at the overall footprint, I decided against it. I am happy with the size and performance of the Ninja SP101.I will update this only if I have some issue with the oven.
Customer Review: This Ninja toaster oven quickly became one of my favorite kitchen appliances. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and looks great on the counter. The flip-up design saves space, and the interior light makes it easy to check on food. There’s a small learning curve with the rack positioning, but once you get it, it’s very easy to use.I use it for reheating, toasting, air frying, baking, and broiling, and everything comes out great. I even dehydrated lemons for cocktails and they turned out amazing.Like any oven, it does get hot depending on the setting, but it’s easy to manage, and the cooldown indicator is helpful. The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean. The stainless steel exterior can get smudges, but it wipes clean easily with a soft cloth.Overall, this is a high-quality appliance that does way more than just toast. Definitely worth the purchase.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve been using this microwave oven for a couple of years now, and it has proven to be a fantastic appliance. It heats food evenly and quickly, making meal prep a breeze. The various settings allow me to easily cook or reheat different types of dishes, and I’ve never had any issues with performance. The design is sleek and fits perfectly in my kitchen, while the interior is spacious enough for larger plates and containers. After years of use, it still looks and works like new. I highly recommend this microwave oven for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient kitchen companion!
Customer Review: Update: raising original review by 1 star as it has lasted 10 years of daily use.Luckily the other reviews were accurate so I knew what to expect and agree with most of them.Pro: It does a great job of heating for a small oven. It heats quicker (about 30 seconds faster on average) than my previous oven. Price.Cons: It slides around on the countertop when you open or close the door. You need both hands to open the door due to the sliding. The panel background color is not a great match with the rest of the white unit; it’s slightly blue-grey vs white. The panel is already beggining to show some warping, almost starting to peel off. The inner plate can slide off the circular track easily and is much smaller than similar units.Bottomline: If you have a small space, this oven is priced low and heats well but there are some inconveniences and design /aesthetic flaws.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I obsessed over the choice between this one and the top rated breville. Price played a part but the extensive positive reviews made this my choice. It is truly excellent. I don’t know how they could make it any better! Clean looking exterior and well lit and functional interior. The only issue I had was with using the top two slot for tray. Nowhere does it tell you that there is a left side bracket (that prevents the tray from falling down). This bracket prevents you from pushing in or using those slots unless you insert it partway then lift the rack around this stop. I love it now that hubby figured out that problem. The broil tray is coated with nice amt of non stick material. It heats up quickly and so far everything has come out crispy and pretty true to time expected. The presets are same as menu book but I don’t see a treason to use them as it is quite easy to change settings as you need them. It is very easy to clean if done after each use. It is easy to pull out racks if you buy one of the rack pullers listed on this site. I have not measure internal temp but it seems to be cooking as expected with no burning. I have tried griddle yet but love the idea of two sides . Navigation by knobs is really intuitive. It’s obvious a lot of thought went into R&D. Interior lighting is very bright. Accessories are of nice weight and easy to clean. Use a small brush on basket after soaking. This is a top notch devise and I don’t understand why it isn’t rated on many review sites. Don’t let that sway you; this is among the very best….and I am a picky consumer.
Customer Review: I don’t know any other way of saying this, but after going through several highly expensive Breville toaster ovens (all breaking anywhere from 2-3 years, I had given up on trying to find another toaster oven from any brand. But as all of us tend to do, while perusing on Amazon, we came across the NuWave brand, and I happened to see this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill Combo, 2025 New Ultra-Fast Convection System, and decided to pull the trigger and ordered one.Not being aware of the NuWave brand, I knew I was taking a chance, but ordered it anyway. It came in record time (like next day). When I opened the box (well packaged by the way), I found a variety of accessories, trays, a sizable cook book with various interesting recipes, and basic instruction manual and an additional card to register for a full 5 year warranty (which I did quickly).Firstly, this NuWave toaster oven looks great. It is substantial lighter feeling than the previous much heavier Brevilles, but I’ve got to say that the heat coming from the outside of this NuWave oven is not as hot as what I experienced with the Breville models – now go figure. That was actually a nice revelation because in the past, I had burned myself coming in touch with the outside side and top panels of the Brevilles. But I’m not getting that from this NuWave – now go figure? Granted, it still gets warm – don’t get me wrong here – but just not as piercingly hot (on the outside) as some of the other brands do.This entire unit with its various buttons is very intuitive – no having to scratch your head in order to figure out how to do something. And there are a wealth of options. A child could do it, and everything cooks perfectly. We have no complaints with regard to cooking temperatures, and we couldn’t be happier. Why I hadn’t investigated the NuWave brand in the past is beyond me, and to get a full 5-year warranty was wonderful to say the least. Another thing to keep in mind is that the layout and feel of the interior, makes it easier to clean than other brand models. So this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill Combo, 2025 New Ultra-Fast Convection System gets the full 5 stars from us. It is a quality made unit that still remains light to hold and lift, yet contains the heat much more effectively than some of the other much more expensive (other brand) units that we’ve had over the past 10 years.Well done NuWave…

The precision temperature control is incredible – I can slow roast meats to perfection or quickly air fry crispy snacks. The 10-in-1 functionality means I rarely need anything else in my kitchen. The build quality feels premium and the digital controls are responsive. My only minor complaint is that the instruction manual could be more detailed, but online tutorials helped fill in the gaps.
Customer Review: As someone who cooks for a family of five, the large 21-quart capacity is a game-changer. I can roast an entire chicken while simultaneously air frying sides, all in the same appliance. The temperature range from 50°F to 450°F has opened up so many cooking possibilities I never imagined. The PFAS-free construction gives me peace of mind about food safety. It’s definitely an investment, but the versatility and performance justify the cost for my household.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: When my Cuisinart toaster/fryer died I took a chance on this for half the price and absolutely love it. Cavernous in size, numerous rack and tray configurations and the french doors are brilliant and operate flawlessly. The controls take a bit of learning due to many great features, but they are intuitive and simple to operate. One knob does most of everything. I love that you can turn the light on and off and that it has dedicated preheat cycles. And on top of all that, it cooks very well. Easily the best of the 4 air fryers I’ve had to date. It also looks great and is all flat surfaces, so its very easy to clean. 3 months in its been a home run. Don’t be fooled by brand names. All your favorites sold out to private equity. They’re shell companies now. Midea is basically China’s General Electric and many of its products were designed by Toshiba. You won’t find anything close to this quality at this price. Buy it and love it like I do.
Customer Review: I seriously cannot believe that I was able to bake a full sized loaf of bread using my cast iron bread loaf pan (AND I realize now that I can fit TWO cast iron loaf pans comfortably if I want to) – it came out perfect. I tried the convection mode and foil for the last 10 minutes (but i had to do foil in my regular oven anyway). I will invest in a Dutch oven with a cover (I’ve been meaning to buy one anyway) – then I won’t need the foil at all anymore. Cookies came out GREAT no burnt bottoms – crispy and chewy and PERFECT. The french doors are an aesthetic bonus, and they are functional – they both open at the same time, which is nice. The unit is sturdy/built well and nice looking and has a THREE PRONG plug – which for safety reasons I passed on another popular brand with very similar features (and slightly roomier) with French doors – the two prong plug was a NO for me, regardless of the extra space. Anyway, it is a GREAT toaster oven, the knob and buttons are very distinct and easy to use (not like the electronic “pads” some toaster ovens have) – which I don’t like too much, while at the same time, offering most of the same up to date features. I don’t understand the criticisms regarding the knob and buttons not being “intuitive” (it does not operate via AI??? – they are simple, straightforward, and easy to use – honestly) I am very picky, and I love this toaster oven for the purposes I need it – and it looks elegant on my kitchen counter with a small footprint for what it handles. It was a great buy:) More than satisfied on this end:)
Complete Buying Guide for Air Fryer That Looks Like A Microwave
Essential Factors We Consider
When evaluating the best air fryer that looks like a microwave, we examine several critical factors including cooking performance, capacity, build quality, and value. Look for models with multiple cooking functions beyond just microwave and air fryer capabilities, such as convection baking, broiling, and roasting. Capacity is crucial—consider your household size and typical meal preparation needs. Build quality matters for longevity, so prioritize durable materials like stainless steel interiors and exteriors. Finally, assess the user interface and available presets to ensure the appliance matches your cooking comfort level.
Budget Planning
The market for air fryer microwaves spans a wide price range from budget-friendly models under $100 to premium units exceeding $500. Entry-level options typically offer basic microwave and air fryer functions with modest capacities, while mid-range models (around $200-$300) provide more comprehensive features and larger interiors. Premium models boast advanced technologies like ultra-fast convection, extensive cooking presets, and professional-grade build quality. Consider your actual usage frequency and desired features to determine the appropriate investment level for your needs.

The evolution of microwave air fryer combos has transformed kitchen appliances into versatile culinary centers. These innovative devices eliminate the need for multiple appliances while delivering exceptional cooking performance. Whether you’re preparing quick weeknight meals or entertaining guests, these combo units offer the flexibility and convenience modern kitchens demand. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do air fryer microwaves differ from traditional microwaves?
A: Air fryer microwaves combine microwave functionality with specialized air frying technology that uses rapid hot air circulation to create crispy textures without excessive oil. Unlike traditional microwaves that primarily heat food through radiation, air fryer microwaves add convection heating and powerful fans to achieve browning and crisping effects comparable to deep frying.
Q: Can I cook frozen foods in an air fryer microwave?
A: Absolutely! Most air fryer microwaves include dedicated frozen food presets for items like french fries, nuggets, pizzas, and vegetables. These presets automatically adjust time and temperature settings optimized for frozen ingredients, making meal preparation quick and convenient without sacrificing quality or requiring pre-thawing.
Q: Are air fryer microwaves energy efficient?
A: Generally yes, air fryer microwaves tend to be more energy efficient than running multiple appliances. Their ability to perform multiple cooking functions in one unit reduces overall energy consumption compared to using separate microwave, toaster oven, and air fryer appliances. However, efficiency varies by model and usage patterns.
Q: How do I maintain my air fryer microwave?
A: Regular maintenance of your air fryer microwave includes wiping the interior and exterior after each use, cleaning removable accessories according to manufacturer instructions, and periodically checking ventilation areas for dust buildup. Avoid using abrasive cleaners on stainless steel surfaces and always ensure components are completely cool before cleaning.
Q: What’s the difference between capacity measured in cubic feet versus quarts?
A: Cubic feet and quarts are both volume measurements but represent different scales. Microwave air fryers typically list capacity in cubic feet (ranging from 0.9 to 1.2 cu ft), while standalone air fryer ovens often use quarts (typically 20-30 quarts). Both indicate how much food the appliance can accommodate, with larger numbers representing greater capacity for family-sized meals.
In conclusion, finding the best air fryer that looks like a microwave involves balancing your specific cooking needs with available features and budget constraints. From budget-friendly options like the Commercial Chef to premium models like the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro, there’s a perfect match for every kitchen. Consider factors like capacity, cooking functions, build quality, and ease of use when making your decision. Whether you’re upgrading from a basic microwave or replacing multiple appliances, these versatile combo units deliver exceptional performance while saving valuable counter space. Remember to read customer reviews and consider your household’s cooking habits before investing in the right air fryer microwave for your home.
