Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The Ninja Professional Plus Blender has easily become my go-to appliance in the kitchen. It’s powerful, versatile, and handles everything from smoothies to nut butters with ease. The motor is strong — even frozen fruit and ice blend smoothly without chunks. Setup and cleanup are both simple. The pitcher is sturdy and dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup much less of a chore. I’ve used it for smoothies, sauces, and crushing ice for cocktails, and it performs consistently well every time. For the performance and durability, it’s an excellent value compared to other high-end blenders. Highly recommended!

Customer Review: It does the job and it does it well. It can handle frozen things to make a smoothie. It’s probably the largest blender I’ve owned, which I’m okay with though it’s a little larger than I need. The blades are tough. They create the smoothie quickly. No leaks so far. In terms of downsides, be very careful around the blades. With the blades extending up through the center of the pitcher, it is easy to get cut. Also, it can be a little tough to arrange the frozen items around the center blade. But as long as you are careful, this works really well.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Easy to use, powerful and compact blender. Use it to make smoothies with ice and frozen fruit. Worked quickly. So smooth able to drinks thru a straw.

Customer Review: I originally purchased this product to make smoothies, but it turned out to be much more versatile than I expected. I’ve been using it regularly for over six months now, and it has become a permanent part of my kitchen routine. When the product arrived, it was well-packaged and securely protected. The first impression was very positive. The materials feel solid and well-made. Visually, the product looks exactly like the photos shown on the listing, which I appreciated. In daily use, I haven’t had any issues with setup or operation. It’s very easy to use, and the blade is much sharper than I anticipated. I’m honestly careful not to touch it directly because it feels extremely sharp. I use it around two to three times a week, mostly for smoothies but also for sauces and quick food prep. Overall, the performance has been excellent. One of the biggest advantages is that it comes with multiple containers. This is very convenient, especially when preparing larger portions or when I don’t want to wash a container immediately. The containers are dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup easy. I’ve washed both the blades and containers in the dishwasher many times, and there has been no dulling or visible wear. The blade handles ice easily and blends very efficiently. It really feels powerful for its size. As a small note, this is not really a negative, but the blade is extremely sharp, so extra care is needed when washing it by hand. Because of the sharp blade, I would say this product is better suited for adults, and children should only use it under supervision. Overall, I think this product is well worth the price. It performs better than I expected and has become a very useful kitchen tool for me.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I bought this Ninja system to replace a couple of older appliances, and the power is incredible. It handles frozen fruit for smoothies like it’s nothing, and the food processor attachment has been a life-saver for quick meal prep. The “Auto-IQ” programs are actually useful you just press a button and it knows exactly how to pulse and blend without you standing there. It’s loud, but that’s because it’s a beast. It’s very easy to clean, and the single-serve cups are perfect for when I’m on my way out the door. If you want one machine that does it all, this is definitely worth the investment.

Customer Review: The Ninja Kitchen System has been an amazing addition to my kitchen. The 72 oz. blender is incredibly powerful and handles smoothies, frozen fruit, and even ice with no problem at all. The 8-cup food processor bowl is also fantastic, it chops and mixes evenly, making meal prep so much faster and easier. I love how versatile it is. Having the blender, food processor, and individual cups all in one system saves space and does everything I need. The only small downside is that when using the individual cups, it’s pretty loud. It’s not a deal breaker for me because it works so well, but just something to be aware of. Overall, it’s a strong, reliable machine that delivers great results.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. TLDR: this blender is comparable to a Vitamix E310 in terms of blend quality, and is in some ways easier to use. Read below for my smoothie journey and how I settled on this being my preferred blender. I’ve used a couple of different blenders over the last couple years, including a Vitamix E310, a magic bullet and a nutribullet. The Vitamix was great, but just too big for my needs. I normally make single serve smoothies/bowls for just myself, and don’t require a super large container to make multiple smoothies. The magic bullet was undoubtedly the worst blender, with only a 250 watt motor. It really struggles to make anything using frozen fruit or ice. The nutribullet was better, but it required some babysitting as you had to shake the container to distribute the fruit when it gets stuck at the top. So now I’m here, I haven’t tried ninja blenders before and I did quite a bit of research before settling on this one specifically. Ninja does have more expensive blenders that come with a larger container as an added bonus, however during my research I have found that the larger containers for this brand seem to perform worse than the smaller single use containers. The reason comes down to the blades, the larger one uses 3 separate blades that “chop” everything up, where as the smaller containers use a more traditional blender blade system that blends things nicely. I was also intrigued by the bowl attachment, as it is similar to how Vitamix uses the tamp to distribute items more evenly. So I bought it, and it works fantastic. I’ve attached a short video where you can see a bowl I created with the bowl attachment, and 2 smoothies blending. The video really shows how well the blender is able to mix frozen items without supervision. It just does it, no babysitting required. The smoothie bowl attachment does require you to twist it, but only for 30 seconds (which I think is doable considering how great the consistency is). Also somewhat surprisingly, it blends leafy greens like kale or spinach perfectly without leaving clumps. Only the Vitamix was ever able to do this for me, so I’m happy to have found a blender that is able to do this in single serve fashion. For this to work well you need to use the extract button. At the time of writing this review it’s $69, and I’m pretty sure this is the best blender you can get for that price. Even at its normal selling price I’d still buy it considering how well it works. The only potential downsides to this blender include: 1) it’s pretty light, and it can just hop around the counter if the suction feet aren’t attached properly. Try to get the feet a little wet and clean the counter before setting it down to avoid this. 2) it’s a ninja, I don’t think this brand is exactly known for product longevity but I guess I’ll have to see how it holds up. Build quality is overall good but not up to Vitamix standards of course. 3) It’s loud, like I’m pretty sure you will wake up everyone within a 500 ft radius if you are blending at 6 am. Don’t be that person. That’s about it for this long review, I’m not sure why I spent the time writing this out but I think it’s good for a product like this to get the recognition It deserves. 5 stars, just buy it.

Customer Review: I bought this blender because I wanted to make meal replacement shakes/smoothies as a quick lunch, since I work from home. I searched and searched for something affordable, but also powerful. I could not afford those $300+ blenders, so I went to Ninja. I have heard great things about their products, and the majority of the reviews are positive. So I buy the blender, it arrives, I can’t wait to use it. I read about the reviews that said it is “SO LOUD” and like yeah, it is loud, but it honestly wasn’t that bad. My husband slept through it, and I used it in the kitchen, 25 feet from our closed bedroom door. I wouldn’t use it around a newborn baby, but my cats were okay with it. I just threw a couple dish towels over it to dampen the noise. But listen, for power of this kind, it’s a worthy trade off. When I tell you this bad boy blended everything I threw at it, I am not kidding in the slightest. Chia seeds? Dust. Frozen fruit? Obliterated. Ice cubes? Chunks be gone. It has made the most delightfully creamy and, well, smooth smoothies I have ever had in my life. It has preset options for what you’re blending, but also has a pulse option. I used it for smoothies, but this would make amazing margaritas, daiquiris, dips, spreads, dressings, you name it. I love that it comes with multiple cups and lids, and it is very easy to clean. The base is small, so I can leave it on my counter or on a shelf without taking up much room. If you need a new blender, and want one that will crush anything, get this one. Your standard pitcher blender will be put to shame. It simply cannot do what this Ninja can. I have been missing out all this time with lumpy, bumpy, and chunky beverages from my old blender. No longer will I be plagued by having to chew my drink! I highly recommend getting this blender if you need a new one, or are in the market for some quality smoothies and drinks. It is absolutely worth it!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I have had this several months now and I absolutely love it. I make smoothies daily and went through several cheaper brands that broke after a few months. This one has held up and does a great job blending frozen fruit and crushing ice. I love that I can wash the parts in the dishwasher and haven’t had any issues doing so. We have other ninja appliances and they have never disappointed us. The attachments are great and the blades are sharp. I look forward to my smoothie every day and this makes it easy and fast. It is on the louder side but that is to be expected with such a powerful motor.

Customer Review: This Ninja blender is extremely powerful and works amazingly well. It blends smoothies, frozen fruits, and ice effortlessly. Complete Buying Guide for Best Blender To Make Smoothies And Frozen Drinks

Essential Factors We Consider

When evaluating blenders for smoothie and frozen drink making, we focus on several key factors. Motor power is crucial – look for at least 700 watts for personal use and 1000+ watts for heavy-duty blending. Blade quality significantly impacts performance, with stainless steel extractor blades generally outperforming plastic or lower-grade metal. Capacity should match your needs – personal blenders typically range from 16-24 ounces, while family models offer 40-72 ounce pitchers. Additional features like preset programs, dishwasher-safe parts, and leakproof designs enhance usability and convenience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What wattage blender is best for making smoothies?

A: For smoothies, we recommend at least 700 watts for personal use and 1000+ watts for heavy-duty blending. Higher wattage motors handle frozen fruit and ice more effectively, resulting in smoother textures. Models like the Ninja Professional Plus (1400W) and Sangcon 1000W demonstrate excellent performance in this range.

Q: Can all blenders make frozen drinks?

A: Not all blenders can effectively make frozen drinks. Look for models with at least 700 watts of power and specialized blades like stainless steel extractors. Lower-powered models like the Magic Bullet (250W) struggle with frozen ingredients, while higher-end models like the Ninja Foodi (1200W) excel at creating smooth frozen drinks.

Q: How do I clean my blender properly?

A: Most modern blenders have dishwasher-safe components, but we recommend cleaning immediately after use. Fill the container halfway with warm water and a drop of dish soap, blend for 10-15 seconds, then rinse thoroughly. Always unplug the blender before cleaning and never submerge the base in water. Refer to our guide on how to make smoothies in a blender for proper usage tips that also help with maintenance.

Q: Are glass jars better than plastic for blenders?

A: Glass jars have several advantages over plastic – they don’t stain, retain flavors less, and feel more premium. Models like the Hamilton Beach Power Elite feature glass jars, while many budget options use plastic. However, glass is heavier and more prone to breaking, so consider your kitchen habits when choosing.

Q: How often should I replace my blender?

A: With proper care, most quality blenders last 5-7 years. Signs it’s time to replace your blender include reduced performance, unusual noises, or worn blades. Regular cleaning and avoiding overloading the motor help extend your blender’s lifespan. For troubleshooting common issues, check our guide on how to fix a blender.
