Homemade Bagel Bites Recipe
Follow this recipe to make the most delicious bagel bites at the comfort of your home.
Bagel Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- ¾ cup water
Bagel Bites Toppings:
- 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- Pepperoni
Note that: you can use your choice of toppings.

- Bowls/ basin
- Mixer
- Aluminum foil/ clean kitchen towel

For Pizza Sauce:
- 28oz tomatoes- should be peeled, drained, chopped, and the liquid retained.
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil- extra virgin
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon dried bay leaves
- Handful fresh basil
- Salt
- pepper
Bagels Cooking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 395 degrees F.
- In a bowl, add some warm water, yeast, olive oil, and sugar and combine them. After the mixture is well mixed, leave it to sit for up to 15 minutes.
- Pour salt into the mixture and add your flour; mix until they combine well. Ensure you end up with an elastic, shiny mixture.
- In another bowl, smear some olive oil into it and place the dough in it. Next, cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or aluminum foil.
- Leave the dough to sit for an hour, so it doubles in size.
- Divide the dough into little balls and make holes with your fingers’ help at the center of each ball.
- Place a large pan with some salted water onto the stove and let It boil.
- The next step is dropping the balls into the water and letting them sit for a minute or so.

- Sprinkle your sesame and poppy seeds onto them.

- Pour your tomatoes into the pan and let them cook for 5 minutes. Keep stirring as they cook.
